While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
Sounds good, I was in the middle of watching the debate when Marquette Univ called up to ask my husband for money. I just called them a liberal and hung up.
McCain really slammed Obama, IMHO. “Nailing jello to the wall”, LOL.
That is so disappointing that he didn’t come out swinging - I’m glad I missed the debate - Sarah should be doing the debating...MSM is probably saying it’s a done deal and Obama is the next POTUS huh?
I see McCain playing “defense” in North Carolina (which will NOT go for Obama), Virginia, and even Indiana. I am taking into account the Bradley effect and see Barry O winning this in a squeaker. Too many voters are angry about the meltdown and don’t care about the social stuff this time around. They don’t know Obama, but will let the chips fall where they may as they blame the GOP for the current morass.
Well she might as well sing it: she’s right.
Is Luntz in Northern VA?
(Makes a difference)
His mortgage plan sounded similar to Biden’s. I didn’t like it when Biden said it, I don’t like it when McCain says it.
As someone that was entertained by Al Bore in his debates, I have to say Obama nearly put me into a coma during his answers.
Luntz group preferred Obama. Style over substance.
They always are, aren’t they? I suspect the same as some struggle to read ‘their’ questions off a piece of paper...
I kept waiting for McCain to bring Obama down in a way that nobody could ignore, but it never happened. This, unfortunately, doesn’t change the dynamic of the race and ultimately will be reflected in the polls. McCain had a deep hole coming in and it’s likely deeper now.
“I thought McCain did good - but not great. He really needed to hit this one out of the park”
Oh yeah? How do you think Bambi did, just out of curiosity??
Frank Putz’s focus group for Obama. Am I surprised????? Frank Luntz is in the tank too. He needs to be unemployed.
These Luntz Focus Group people are drunk.
