While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I hope you’re right. I feel in my gut that McCain just threw away a golden opportunity.

Don’t forget - Obama knows the prayer call in PERFECT ARABIC! I wonder if people realize that what they are hearing is NOT a “Chicago accent” - it is an ARABIC accent. Not that there is anything wrong with pronouncing a person’s name correctly as in ACH-MAH-DIN-AH-JAAD, but I think people should know that Obama PURPOSELY uses the accent to his advantage.
(As one who married a Polish-American I know how hard it is to pronounce some things correctly... However, I don’t try to apply the same accent used with pronouncing my own name with EVERY word I say! If I did that people would think I’m probably RUSSIAN! LOL)

Re: “What don’t you know?” McCain sounds like a speechwriter prepared his statement. This is one of his best answers, and it’s closing the debate. Another answer that will help him, even if it’s just a little.
