While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
They all thought Palin won in the Luntz group.
i kind of miss the bill clinton days...
Hey I was at bible study - how’s the debate going - McCain doing anything?
Going into Pakistan would be a bad idea. Those people are crazy over there. My Pakistani doctor says so. LOL He’s also a big Republican. I love my doctor.
Maybe we should attack Canada and Mexico. Lot’s of them folk in those countries too! Senator O is an idiot!
There you go, John! Keep it up!
Go after him like a pitbull!!!
I feel a graphic coming on...
Hey I was at bible study - how’s the debate going - McCain doing anything?
LoL!
Obama is like he is circling around something he does not understand — Military, unless they are goose stepping children.
McCain is on very comfortable, solid ground now. The *telegraph your punches* is the best line of the night. Obama lost BIG on that, BIG TIME. In front of the WHOLE COUNTRY.
Indeed BO is looking lost right now. This is McCain’s strong suit and he’s taking it to little Barry right now.
Hey I was at bible study - how’s the debate going - McCain doing anything?
McCain 72%
The One (piss be upon him) 25%
Neither 3%
ROFL. Thanks for the chuckle!
I’m pushing the mute button on my TV when Obama starts talking now. I can’t take it anymore. He goes on and on and on, drone, drone, drone, and I’m soooooo sick of his voice, which I don’t like the sound of in the best of circumstances. This debate sucks bigtime. Boring, lousy format, a townhall debate needs interaction and feedback from and with the people in the audience. They’ve muzzled the audience who are all sitting there like a bunch of mutes. It’s like the movie The Night of the Living Dead, which frankly I’d prefer to be watching right now rather than this faux debate.
McCain just keeps repeating lines he said in the first debate. The whole debate isn’t one. It’s not a debate. There’s no interaction between the audience and the candidates, there is no interaction between the candidates and the moderator, there is no debate between the candidates themselves, there is no debate. Just long-winded (in Obama’s case) speechifying, and in McCain’s case, meek and weak responses and repetition of prior lines he uses ad nauseum. McCain is not going after anything Obama says. He’s left one opening after another that Obama has given him slide right past him as if Obama never said them. Geez, this is horrible tonite. I’d say the only good thing is that they both stink, but I know what will happen. The MSM will spin it that Obama won the debate by a large margin, they will convince the public of it, and the Pubs will be once again on the short end of the stick. Our only hope is that enough people will see through Obama’s bluster and lies, however, there are too many dumbed down Americans now, and so there goes that hope down the drain.
This is the end, my friends, the end. Thus sayeth The Doors.
No. In the morning, one of these bozos will be president.
Didn’t take too long for the leftist moderator to cave in.
LMAO!
"THERE WAS MORE ETHNIC CLEANSING AND GENOCIDE IN IRAQ UNDER SADDAMM HUSSEIN THAN THERE WAS IN KOSOVO OR BOSNIA.
He justified our reason to go to Iraq. TELL HIM MC CAIN!!!"
