While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I have to clean out my ears. I guess she said “green jobs”not , well —I must be channeling the clinton administration
Green Job - one day per year dressing as a leprechaun for St. Pat’s Day?
I believe McCains answers and his attacks on Obama’s record are going to stick....Obama is just talking...blah blah blah.
Obama’s answer to everything is to tax and spend.
'Senator and I actually agree on something' - AGREE #2, DRINK!
Thread moving fast...are you here?
And he got it wrong.
Not a day goes by that I don’t destest Obama MORE than the previous day.
True. The media got a twofer this time - selected McCain as our nominee for us, and ruined a conservative from ever showing her face again.
It wasn’t the computer invented by the military, knucklehead Obama, it was the Internet!!
Obammma wet his pants, that’s why he won’t stand up
Obama's responses are smooth and tailored to the great middle class. Doing very well hiding who he REALLY is.
McCain’s answer asking for nuclear power was good.
Hussein sucks...blabbing about “voting against alternative fuels.”
Somebody needs to release a squirrel in the forum to liven things up.
I don’t care how long he has been here. Tonight he is playing the troll. McCain is not doing a bad job tonight. We may not agree wth everything that he says, but he’s McCain. We knew that going in. You want President Obama? Then keep demoralizing and dividing the troops (not you personally TG, but the folks on this thread that have been on John’s case since the first few minutes of the debate (He’s lost. It’s over. Blah Blah.)
THEY NEED TO SHUT UP AND GET OFF THE THREAD. Maybe TGreg is just having a bad day, but we don’t need this negativism. John McCain is doing well.
Fair enough. I just find myself wishing Mac were someone he is not, to pull some kind of rabbit from the hat. The question is, how does this affect the undecided voters.
Good luck to us, we’re going to need it (either way!)
I’m kinda holdin’ my breath wondering what will come up next...
Do have any clue how sickening your comparison is? You are equating Sarah Palin with a person who would club a baby harp seal to death? What in the WORLD is your problem? Trying to be a “clever” long-time troll?
Again, absolutely sickening! Not to mention it being very bad form to put up non-related pictures in a live thread.
I don’t like it either. It’s a very dry unexciting atmosphere.
well nashville proper is 25% black
