If youre among those who speculate that the only thing better than Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live would be Sarah Palin making a cameo on the show, there might be hope yet.
If the buzz is to be believed, the NBC show is working to get the vice-presidential candidate and Alaska governor on air before the election Although Saturday Night Live, like many other shows, doesnt comment specifically on bookings, a rep said, There are always talks with the candidates' camps.
Theres also some buzz about Palin making an appearance on The View.
Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain have both made appearances, and View executive producer Bill Geddie says, The View has established itself as a place to be seen for both the presidential and VP candidates, their wives and/or husbands and they all have an open invitation to appear on the show.

It would be kind of funny to see Palin and Fey do some kind of mirror routine.
An SNL appearance would be a plus for Sarah. Going on The View, however, would be like touring a pig farm.
I think going on SNL proves you have a sense of humor about it all. And with Palin’s resemblance to Fey it could be pretty funny to see the spoofing go the other way.
Don’t know how much could be gained by going on The View, other than proving she isn’t scared of anyone no matter how hateful.
SNL is good idea. I trully think Lorne Michaels (the producser and a longtime Hillary supporter) resurected Hill in the primaries by her cameo appearances (and by the scathing debate skit...'Sen. Obama, can we get you a pillow?') Hillary came across as funny and Obama was made to look stuffy...and the media orgasmic over the slightest utterance of his (Chrissy Matthews and Campbell Brown were hit hard!).
Everytime McCain has been on (and its a few) he is given really good lines (and he has great timing/delivery). FWIW, Michaels has donated the maximum to the McCain campaign. I think Gov. Palin would be given a favorable light.
How about Gov. Palin dressing up as Tina Fey for Halloween (on SNL?)
I’m afraid my wink is nothing like Sarah’s. Not to mention, eh, I’m a guy.
Sarah, don’t waste your time giving either of these two idiot shows any credibility. Nothing good will come of it for you or the GOP. Fire whoever in your staff suggested this. They are a mole.
Screw the View. But do SNL.
this is my sister Sarah and this is my OTHER sister Sarah! Hmm
Doesn’t George Foreman have six sons all named George?
I agree; Sarah should NOT go on the View.
Who watches the View, anyway, except brain-dead, idle liberals? I actually work for a living, so I never can watch it anyway.
Im still laughing at the guy who did Biden, esp when he talked about being from Scranton, PA, the “hell-hole”. No wonder he’s in hibernation...That was really funny.
I could see Gov. Palin spoofing Fey’s credit card commercial, where she is taking charge of a bunch of weird issues (Where do we deliver the sled dogs? No, no, the lipstick goes on the pig’s LIPS) and then being told that the government just tried to charge $700 billion to her account.
Thanks, I was wondering what happened to the ‘Pics rules’ here for awhile there!
Sarah is so much better looking that Fey..it might backfire of Fay in HDEF.
She shouldn’t do it..I don’t think she has much to gain and Fay really hates Sarah. She shouldn’t even consider the View..not now and not ever if she is VP.
She needs to remain an OUTSIDER.
I disagree with going on SNL. It is not her being unable to have fun, etc. This would have been great last month or so. Right now, Johnny is falling far behind in all polls. He is going on the leftist pit with Letterman and she is going on SNL? What is his campaign staffers thinking? Both of them need to be spending time in ohhh, Ohio, Fla, and all the other Battle Ground States that are key to a victory. If the election was won by popular vote, then ok go on the shows with 3 weeks remaining. But with the Electorial College, they had better take off the gloves, stop talking about Iraq and tell the undecided what they are going to do for the Economy not go on television shows
I agree. I cannot stomach Tina Fey, now that I know her views. She now comes across as hateful than funny.
She has NOTHING to gain going on either shows. NOTHING. She already has suffered from the characatures of her.
But the guy doing Biden, now that was funny.
I would have nothing to do with them keep your eye on the prize. After the Dude being made a child molester albeit in a skit making fun of the media still not cool.
They can introduce Weekend Update with Tina Fey. And Palin comes out, imitates Fey, and reads the news. I think she has experience reading the news anyway.
