Nothing matters until after the debate

True - but if McCain doesn't knock it out of the park, we're finished.

The question is WHY have the polls shifted? I’m just not seeing a reason. All I can fathom is that the media is in full Goebbels mode to push their boy.

Well, Sara is helping more out on the campaign trail than the debate. The debate showed everyone she is credible and now her remarks on the campaign trail will be taken a lot more seriously. Everything she says now will be listened to and reported.

Go Sara

stay focused and dont go wobbly. We can win this.

McCain is behind there is no doubt, although 8% is stretching it!

Late surge in the last 72 hours before Nov 4 towards McCain...take it to the bank!

You don’t want to see the Suffolk poll, either.

Wall street is expecting a obama victory and is factoring that in. Hence the plunge

You are right.

This is hardly spoken of. Sure other chickens are coming home to roost like the corruption of Fannie Mae.

But the Obama factor with his disastrous tax/defense policies are the main reasons the stock market is struggling.

I got an email with a link to the whacko daily kos site. I don't know their methods in polling, but if their daily tracking poll is anywhere near have accurate, Sarah Palin got about a two day bounce from the debate. McCain continues to slide while Biden has tied Obama's popularity. Go figure,

One odd thing to me is that the text below from yesterday's Gallup release doesn't seem to match today's result as the lead got larger, and their analysis part of the release today doesn't address these words from the day prior either. And I am still waiting on their Palin/Biden debate poll, why didn't we ever get one of those from them?

The race has been slightly closer on both of these two individual days (Oct. 3-4) than the previous two days. Obama held particularly large leads over McCain from Oct. 1-2, possibly resulting from Americans' focus on the Wall Street financial crisis and congressional rescue plan dominating the news at that time. Since then, support for Obama has remained about the same, at the 49% to 50% level, while support for McCain has increased slightly, with an associated decline in the percentage of undecided voters.

He did not seem to have a handle on the economy or the causes of the current sub-prime melt-down.

and Palin at the debate didn’t quite get it either.

Don’t believe it folks, Not for a Minute! You and I, all of us need to fight the evil by hitting the streets with the conservative message! We can complain, or we can get to work. Personally, I spend every opportunity every day explaining the truth to the misled and undecided.
