I stumbled across this when I was searching for the source of the Obama Youth Regiment video someone posted on here.

What is Obama talking about with this Civilian National Security Force?

What is happening here? I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but this came right out of Obamas mouth. Why on earth do we need a Civilian National Security Force that is as well funded as the United States military? In case any of you capitalist pigs says something that the One doesn't like? Seriously, what is this guy doing?

Refresh your reading of Germany in the late 30s and early 40s.
There are expediencies a civilian force can accomplish for leadership that the rigid military isn’t capable of. Every leader should have at his disposal an army beholden just to him. There are just too many constitutional barriers present which makes the military much harder to activate against the civilian population. We need a force Obama can activate whenever it is deemed necessary for national security reasons ofcourse. One area that comes to mind is the collection of private weapons when that become necessary for national security. There are many others. /s

This is actually old news but I’m surprised that the Repubs aren’t bringing it up. It is certainly ominous and very Alinskyish, and the historical antecedents are obvious.

Minor correction here. The security apparatus of the Third Reich was under the auspices of the Reich Main Security Office (RSHA). The Secret State Police ("Gestapo") and the Security Service ("SD") were organizations under RSHA. The Gestapo existed to uncover subversion against the state and the SD focused on the party. They were both subsidiaries of the General SS, as was the Waffen SS. But the Gestapo and the SD are the organizations to compare here, not the Waffen SS.

At this point, I think Obama is only thinking about his own Gestapo, not his own SD (yet).

Not to be nitpicky, FRiend, you were probably thinking of the SA (SturmAbteilung). Commonly remembered as the Brownshirts or Storm Troopers. Common thugs and criminals with pretty uniforms.

This would make a GREAT ad--Show Obama youth--switch to Italy 1939--show little fascists in aq in uniform (girls-white blouse, long black tie w/medallion of Mussolini on it,black pleated skirt and black cape and cap) chanting and yelling for Il Duce. Back to Obama's brigade--switch to Germany--Hitler Youth in uniform. Last switch to results of Hitler Black shirts pulling Jews out of their homes at night. (Or was it black shirts for Il Duce andBrown shirts for Hitler--anyway, this is chilling because it is 1939 again as Germany was in economic crisis and Hitler took over, having these huge rallies, promising to lead Germany to economic prosperity, starting his neighborhood organizations, promising to work with the newly voted in Weimar Republic President and officers. The rest is history.

It would seem obama has learned well the lessons from his mentors over the years...there’s also the teachers that are telling thier students to wear, on a certain day, blue - in support of obama.

Getting to the youth in school was one of the first weapons Hitler used in his plan to take over the country.

How long would it be under a pres. obama before our children would be brainwashed into reporting on us if we didn’t march to the party line?
