ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is accusing Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" for his association with a former 1960s radical.
Palin was referring to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. The group took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

Doubt it, the thing is Bush has done well with terrorism so we feel safe. Some people will feel this is “fearmongering” and look the other way. Imagine W talking about terrorism in 2000. People will not care. She is right, and he would have been right but we have ADD and see the last week only.

Whoever said "Republicans do not like strong women" has never heard of Sarah Palin. The people who say that do not have a problem with understanding the meaning of strong, they have a problem with the definition of women. Sarah is showing them the meaning of both.

In the same story, we learn that Obama today held a rally in Illinois. What the hell for? For the adulation.

"But Obama was only a kid when all that happened. So it means nothing." Let them try that. Obama wasn't a kid when he and Ayer were running the Annenberg Challenge together.
A couple of months back there was an essay in City Journal where the author pointed out that while Obama may have been 8 years old when Ayers was doing his thing, he (the author) was 9 years old when the Weather Underground tried to murder him and his family because his father was a judge overseeing a Black Panther trial. The Weathermen torched his house.

Plus, can a person not change? If a person makes a mistake, dont Christians believe in forgiveness? I thought she was a Christian...I thought McCain was a Christian and yet they cannot look past somebodys past faults. I would ask this moron when Bill Ayers changed, when he asked anyone for forgiveness for what the Weathermen did.

By that logic Obama could also hang around Nazi war criminals. Or the guys who tortured McCain in the Hilton.

He cut a deal to rat out his pals. Wire tap excuse was the front story. The weather underground took credit for over a dozen bombings on US soil.

Nah, you must be mistaking me for someone else.
I even butchered “Awesome God” at a local Christian concert once. ;-)

Let my sincerely suggest you cram it. John McCain was proving his courage back when you (I suspect) were either still in your mom’s ovary, crapping in your diaper or watching Road Runner cartoons.

Saying this action makes McCain look cowardly is like saying something makes Yao Ming look short. Let’s get a grip.

Thanks for remembering this article. It scared the hell out of me! I'm really glad you posted it. I printed several dozen copies and gave them to collage students to read and encouraged them to do some research!
My best friends growing up were some of the last to get out of Cuba. I will never forget the horror stories their father told (he was a doctor.) So many in this Country take the freedom we enjoy for granted...
Obama IS another Castro...where will we be able to go to escape?
Worth repeating...
But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner's guns went silent the people's guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time everyone received their free education it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him. By the time the change was finally implemented Cuba had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was over more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes. You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in the world the most fortunate Cubans.

You forget dont you?
It wasnt until Hillary started with Wright and Ayers that she started winning. She needed to start sooner.
There was more than enough time for the Wright and Ayers stuff to take hold, especially for the Wright stuff. More than enough time and more than enough coverage among all of the media outlets. For a while you couldn't watch any news coverage because it was nothing but Obama's preacher being shown everywhere, and Hillary pushed the terrorism stuff in the most-watched primary debate.
I said it already, those who care about terrorism are voting McCain already, and if the undecideds and independents cared about terrorism, McCain would be facing Hillary instead of Osama. Emulating Hillary at this point is just wasting time and energy and is not drawing in these voters - they stopped caring about terrorism years ago.
We already lost Congress in 2006 thanks to the independents and undecideds (they helped Bush in 2000, but he and the GOP started losing them in 2004).
McCain has something that Hillary didn't have - a lot of economic problems weighing on peoples' minds, and if he wastes that opportunity, we are going to be watching Obama being sworn in next year. His campaign has been leaving Palin out of the loop or treating her as an after-thought, when she could be an incredibly valuable tool.

WE LOVE SARAH!!!!!!
Sarah had to prove herself in the debate, now she is letting loose on Barack Hussein Obama.
Go Sarah Baracuda.
But, lets not hold on to her hem and go along for the ride.
Help out the McCain/Palin team.
Get yard signs in your yards, the McCain/Palin signs are in at your local Republican party headquarters, get one in your yard.
Dont worry about living in a HOA, the NRS116.325 (NV)states we have the right to display political signs.
Cant believe how many people come in to headquarters and say they cannot display because of HOA rules. I tell them to check out the NRSs and they are happy to display them in their yards. Every state should have Revised Statutes, check it out for your state.
Put in a few hours working for the Republican Party. Phone calls, stuffing envelopes, putting signs together or walking your neigborhood, getting the vote out.
John McCain asked us to fight with him and Sarah is doing her part, lets get out there and fight for our country.
COUNTRY FIRST.
God Bless America.

If you really believe that independents and moderates know this guy is taking his cues from a guy who used to bomb buildings and is stil proud of it but they don’t care, you are really ill-informed.

One other thing:
Yeah, it worked great for Hillary!
C'mon, you're talking about Dem primary voters here! They'd vote for a Michael Moore-Hugo Chavez ticket!

Here is that article written by guy who had his house bombed by the Weather Underground ... definitely worth a read as it gives a human face to the insanity of Ayers and his band of Reds...
