ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is accusing Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" for his association with a former 1960s radical.
Palin was referring to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. The group took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

The story will grow IF this is the opening salvo, which I believe it is. They have muzzled Palin until now, no way she brings this up without the official ok from the McCain campaign. Obama will try to ignore this and say it’s old news and he can expect the MSM to defend it for him. However, if Palin keeps it up and more importantly, Mac joins the chorus, Obama’s ego will not allow him to ignore it and then it’s GAME ON.

Exactly. She has to say it often, say it in a lot of public venues, get it onto the blogosphere, and expand on it. They have ONE MONTH to start getting this stuff out, and the media will sure hide it if they can.
He may be a former '60s' radical, but he's a still a revolutionary communist/radical today.

Looks to me like Bill Ayers stole (or borrowed) this phrase from Bob Avakian, chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party. Both the Weather Underground and RCP have roots in the radical Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) organization.

Well lets look at the justification from the MSM regarding the 9-11 Terrorists:
They are not to be blamed because they didnt set off any bombs and they were just bad pilots.Thats how the horrid American press would like to report it today.

To use yet another football analogy that's like McCain going to the hurry up offense. By the time Obama reacts to one thing attack him from another direction.
I tried to get close enough for her to sign my bumper sticker, but it was not in the cards. She has an air about her, almost like the ‘gal next door’. God bless this person.She is the future of politics in America.
Negative, negative. It's *much* better if she doesn't. By leaving it as a vague, matter-of-fact statement, it forces Obama to do one of two things.
1. Name Ayers as the terrorist in question, and define his relationship with him, publicly. This would only lead voters to a point of focus of that relationship, and open the door to Annenbaum, Rezko and other dark corners of Chicago politics.
2. Allow Palin to link him to 'terrorists', without any kind of response or defense, and let that sink in to the minds of the average voters. This would lead to massive degradation of Obama's credibility with independents, as their imagination runs with the idea that Obama pals around with terrorists.
No need to name names. This is a trap. Obama gets to choose his own fate. He can't run from this problem, and now that he's called out, he can't hide.
