I can remember being at work when the 1st verdict was read. We had brought out two TV sets and people were crowded around them.

I remember the butterflies in my stomch when they all stood. When the verdict was read I burst into uncontrollable crying. I ran to the phone and called my husband (then my fiance) and we talked and talked and talked.

Verdict Reached in O.J. Simpson Trial

After 13 hours of deliberation, the O.J. Simpson jury has reached a verdict. The jury of nine women and three men began deliberating on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. after 12 days of testimony.

The verdict will be read around 10:15 p.m. and LasVegasNOW.com and Eyewitness News will bring you complete coverage.

Simpson, 61, and a golfing buddy, Clarence "C.J." Stewart, 54, each face five years to life in prison if convicted of kidnapping, or mandatory prison time if convicted of armed robbery.

They've pleaded not guilty to 12 charges, including conspiracy, coercion and assault with a deadly weapon.

The jury had ordered dinner earlier in the evening so they could continue deliberating on the various counts.

I wonder something. Considering that OJ is not being held in jail and considering his lifestyle, what if the police go to pick him up to bring him to the courthouse to hear the verdict and he has been partying and is all drugged up or boozed up??? What do they do?

I was standing in line at a chicken shack on the South Side of Chicago at the moment the verdict was announced.

That was poor planning on my part.

Had he been convicted I think I would have been assaulted. As it turned out, I was only taunted instead.
