Yep, I bet Leno and Letterman have their usual “dumb Palin” jokes followed by the jokes about McCain’s age. Unfortunately for them, their shows were taped before the debate.

When Palin wanted to hit old Joe for all his mistatements, she told him that the pundits tomorrow will be fact checking you. I laughed as he blanched.
If Joe Biden isn't lying then he's uttering some other liberal's lies.
BS... Her partisanship was in full bloom. She allowed Biden the last word on every issue without giving Palin any opportunity for rebuttal. Most of the format appeared a set-up from the word go.

Obama made this claim, and now Biden too - that Obama warned everyone about sub-prime lending - or something to that affect.
What are they talking about?

Ah C’mon. She hit the floor running. The only part that I saw where she seemed uncomfortable was when S. Biden got choked up. It was like she didn’t know whether to keep going or offer sympathy.

Gov. Palin was excellent on energy independence, lowering taxes, cutting spending, and government as the problem.

Guiliani said Biden got knocked down by a woman with a velvet glove and had difficulty getting up. He said it was one of the most successful debates he ever saw and when she cited some of his critical statements of Obama during the primaries, always with a smile, she got the better of him. Of course, says he, the liberal media will refuse to acknowledge how well she did. Hopefully the voters will ignore them.
I was only 9 when Ferraro was on the ticket, so I don't know the answer to this one. But was there this sort of excitement when Ferraro was on the ballot, too? Or by then was it clear that Mondale was going to lose so it was just a novelty?
