I lasted 30 seconds on CNN until the bias began.

I didnt catch the time but Joe almost always got in the last word. Sarah had to refute his argument after she was asked her next question.
She did a great job. I am so impressed by her debating kills and her command of the important issues.

Greenspan's wife is whining right now about how "Sarah Palin had become quite a drain on the campaign the past few weeks."
So far I've only watched half an hour of the debate (DVR) and I'm pulling my hair out. Palin is ignoring the questions, and she's ignoring what Senator Biden is saying. What the (bleep) is she doing!? Maybe she'll get better throughout the debates, but I'm finding them almost unwatchable. Very low score from me, I'm afraid.
I'm watching the post-debate analysis and everyone seems to think Sarah did quite well.
I didn't see it...I wanted her to espouse conservatism, go on the attack re the financial crisis, and name names.
When she decided to go after oil companies and express her support for gay couples instead, I lost it.
Guess I'm the exception.
I won't remove the McCain/Palin signs in my front yard, and I'll still vote for them.
But I wasn't impressed.

As far as a moderator goes, I think Gwen was actually pretty fair. The only time I felt like she intended for a question to actually hurt a candidate was on the civil union question. I guarantee that there are alot of evangelicals who did not know that Palin allowed state employees to give benefits to same sex partners. Alot of conservative independents probably didn’t know that one too. But as soon as she asked it to Biden and brought up Palin’s support for it I knew that was Gwen’s way to try and hurt her with the “base”. Plus that was a chance for Biden to get in the lie from BO that he doesn’t support gay marriage. That was killing two birds with one stone for Gwen.
But I do believe that somehow the questions were given to Biden before the debate.
His answer on how he’d changed was way too prepared sounding. Who the hell is gonna pull that out of his ass? On how he changed his criteria for selecting judges?
But his answer still sucked.
