Unfortunately, she only had 90 seconds to respond. In that time you want to get out the strong points of your team, let them know what the oppositions faults have been, and what you plan to do if elected. She could have gone off and pushed the blame game, but frankly, I doubt that would have gone over very well. And by the time you're done bad-mouthing the other party, you don't have any time left to talk about the points you want to get across to the American people.

I think Sarah could have come across stronger. Biden got things in and even interrupted her to make his points and she should have grabbed him by the nads and said, “Just a second, mister.”. But I suppose that I was looking for a different level of intensity than others on this thread.

Sara had a Huge amount of pressure on her tonight. She’s one of us....could you imagine having to do what she did. Yeah, she started out too fast and scripted but once she became herself and talked to the average American, she rocked.
Can you imagine what she will be like with some more time under her belt?

Well as for me I think Biden did well. He did his job and attacked McCain not Palin. He did not go after her. It would only make him look small if he did. For this reason I think he did better. It was unlike Biden to look like a gentlemen and human being.
It wasn’t Palin’s fault that she couldn’t go after a her opponent. McCain has been such a liberal in the Senate that if she attacks Biden and Obama’s liberal stance she attacks McCain as well.
She was fighting a duel with both hands tied behind her back.

Listen folks, if I turn the TV on in the morning and the consensus is that Palin won big tonight, then I’ll eat crow. I got no problem with admitting if I’m wrong. Let’s see how this plays out.
