John McCain is pulling out of Michigan, according to two Republicans, a stunning move a month away from Election Day that indicates the difficulty Republicans are having in finding blue states to put in play.

I hate to say it, but you are right. He said, fight, fight, fight! But he is coming across as an appeasing pacifist. Driving me crazy!
All negative, doom and gloom, it’s over posts by a troll or not serve the same purpose, they might as well have been written by the Obama campaign.
Watch the video.

15 minutes and you will be re-focused.
McCain can still win here, but he has to go on offense. This is a populist state and he needs to fight. No more Mr. Nice guy. Start fighting and making people famous.
Look at the example for Republicans in this state. 1990 John Engler. Engler defeated an incumbent democrat after being down 20 points in the polls most of the year. He fought. He looked like a union boss. He was tough. That's what he ran on. Toughness. He didn't care what people thought about him.
Nice guys finish last here.
Even if the mods would ban you, I'd never report you. I like playing with trolls. Especially the transparent ones that think they're fooling us bitter gun 'n Bible clingers!
PA .NH, are the two states which kerry held which we should go after plus defend the other swing states
remember the polls had obama winning big in NH but it went big for Clinton.
I believe these polls are skewed and I believe some are not telling the truth.
those who do not know yet will go to the polls and then I think will go for McCain as they know him.
This happened many times for clinton as well/
The polls are trying to put us all off but I do say that McCain needs to fight back and name names stronger instead of this olive be nice branch.
mention ACORN, WITH OBAMA, foreign policy remember when obama said he would never use nuclear weapons even if we were attacked with them
why is this not in an AD. mention the guns and religion in PA
this would throw obama off track, he is right for the pickings it just needs the GOP and McCain needs to voice up
Remember it was reported in NYT that a couple of aids “thought” McCain might be having an affair.
I'll be voting for McCain-Palin. You couldn't pay me enough money to vote for Obama-Biden.
In Michigan? You are on drugs. Also, the economy is Romney’s subject...he owns it. McCain is wandering...c’mon man..we have been around long enough to see the writing on the wall. We are getting 1996 here in 2008 and you know it.
Romney would be kicking the crap out of Obama right now. He “looked forward” to the fight. McCain looks forward to shaking hands with the left as they use their right hand to stab him in the back.
Did you (and far too many others on this thread) get the MSM/Dem trash-talking points?
I know you live there, but what about Dearborn and Hamtramck?
This does seem odd. Until we get something official from the campaign, then this is a rumor.
There seems to be a concerted effort this past couple of days to take the wind out of the base.
The only Romney support was among the business class. He has very little to no blue collar appeal. Right to life would stay home. Gun owners would stay home.
If he had picked her earlier, Obama would have picked Hillary.
A whole article is written on this because of "two Republicans"!!??
You've got to be kidding me! No names, no nothing... TWO REPUBLICANS said it!
Hey DUmbsquats... NOBama is going to lose this election, write an article on that... "According to one Republican"!
There you go again. /sigh
Obama predicts 58 state landslide.
Yep, right before the debate.
They are workin that news-cycle.
I’m ready to call BS on the article and announcement.
I would not base any moves on some of these polls. McCain needs to be very careful who is doing his polling. He may have signed on some agency that is inherently leftist without knowing it. If Michigan was a four point game last week, it’s unthinkable to write it off just a week later.
