Reading FR over the past 48 hours or so has been downright depressing. Yesterday I found myself snapping at my children for no other reason than my negative state of mind. The election is still a month away. I don't believe that all is lost. Polls are being manipulated and so are we!

So, what GOOD news have you heard lately? What is going on in your part of the country that gives you hope that McCain will win? What positive anecdotes can you share with all of us? Post it here. We could all use the encouragement.

My local WalMart has regular gas for $3.21 a gallon.

NYMEX RBOB Gasoline Futures are down to $226.12 ... regular will be under $3 if it stays this low for a couple of weeks.

i did a ton of overtime in the past couple weeks and saw the fruits of my labor in todays check. other than that i am healthy, have a wonderful girlfriend and family, and i finished the project i was working on today to my bosses delight.

This morning I saw a new McCain commercial on tv in which McCain laid out the exact reason for the Fannie/Freddie bad mortgages that were initiated and demanded by the Democrats. . with Democrats ignoring, and voting against any enforcement of regulation as requested by Senator McCain, the regulatory entity and the Republicans in 2004.

Excellent! He really dropped the ball on that the night of the debate. I was hoping he wasn't running of steam already.

I have been finding out about some friends I knew were DEMS who are voting for McCAin/Palin. I have a good feeling that after tonight there will be many more.

I believe the many “die hard” Obama supporters will finally be shaken IF:
1. The law suit about Obama’s Constitutional qualifications carries on and the truth is made evident. Right now my understanding is that we will hear in a very few days.

2.The truth comes out about Obama’s drug use and lies about it come out. This may be happening very soon too!

My brother in law, who has been a staunch Democrat for the 35 years I have been married to his sister told me this past Saturday he is voting for McCain. He doesn’t trust Obama.

I finally got my pink “Women for McCain/Palin” bumper sticker yesterday as well as a “Rosie the Riveter” style campaign button. Also, in my very democratic middle class neighborhood here in South Florida, I have yet to find even one Zero yard sign.
