Reading FR over the past 48 hours or so has been downright depressing. Yesterday I found myself snapping at my children for no other reason than my negative state of mind. The election is still a month away. I don't believe that all is lost. Polls are being manipulated and so are we!
So, what GOOD news have you heard lately? What is going on in your part of the country that gives you hope that McCain will win? What positive anecdotes can you share with all of us? Post it here. We could all use the encouragement.
Here is another one. The left might win the election. They will still be pissed off and we will still have joy in our hearts.
My 19 year old USAF Airman son has been recommended by his staff sergeant for Honor Guard.

Lets all make sure we go see “An American Carol” tomorrow. We need to support the work of conservatives in Hollywierd. I may go see it several times, it looks like it is going to be a gut buster.
My old hood! My Busia (grandmother) used to live right around there...in some apts by the Kohl’s and Pick N Save. I was there a lot. Great news - hopefully those Wisconsinites are waking up!!!
Just a few more weeks until Starbucks starts selling those little cookie things with the cream cheese frosting, white chocolate and cranberries!

My good news: I’m pregnant and it seems this baby is sticking around! One more little conservative we’ll be homeschooling. :-)

That depends on their size.
I just had a two hour meeting with my financial advisor and my 401K is down 30%. I moved it all to money markets to ride this thing out, and any thoughts of retiring soon are pretty much gone. On the positive side, I live in NC and my Senator voted against that stupid bailout.
Here’s some good news —
1: We win when the issues are examined.
2: Talk radio is taking chunks out of the left daily and relentlessly.
3: The Dow did not jump for joy after the senate bailout vote. Nor did it panic on Tuesday.
4: Expectations for Palin are low. [Wicked grin.]
5: We have a month left before the election.
6: ‘Burnin’ Down the House’ videos are a smash hit on the web, and it just won’t go away.
7: FReepers are fighting hard, and fighting smart.
We can win this despite McCain.
