"Of the 49 Republicans in the Senate: 39 voted yea, 15 voted nay."So 39 + 15 = 49? LOL - That's some fuzzy math!

He’s losing his re-election bid is why he voted no.

So 39 + 15 = 49? LOL - That's some fuzzy math! Ergh. Thirty-four, not thirty-nine.
I'm so tired with studying for mid-terms that I can't even add straight anymore.

38 Dems voted Yea, One Independent, Lieberman, voted Yea. That leaves 10 votes, 50 being required since Kennedy did not vote. The other Independent, Sanders, voted no. That means it took 10 Repub votes to get to 50. It got 34 Repub "yea".
Thus we now have shared responsibility for the debacle to follow. Letting the Dems off the hook.
Only 4 more Dems voted yea than Republicans. And they have 2 more Senators than the pubs. (But then one of those wasn't able to make the vote). And there are two "Independents who usually vote with the Dems, although in this case they split.

Thank you. I'm too burnt to count them up.
These folks are WAY too stupid to be in office. They played right into the rat's plan.
Let's pray the House Republicans stop the Bush-Obama plan. I wish McCain would grow a pair, fight this and call it that!
