I was just about to send a c-note to the Coleman campaign.

Nope!

If I'm going to have a clown for a president, I might as well have Al Franken for a Senator.

What...what options...there were no other options on the table...what you want him to be an army of one? The Democrats would have set him up....

Soros is behind all of this....Obama knew what was coming down the pipe...Obama, Franklin Raines, alinsky....why do you think the Economy was his strong point...Community Organizer...i dont think so...try master....law maker...rewording already written laws to make a profit and screw the people they were meant for....laundering money through community projects.

NOW HE GOT A HUGE MULTI MILLION DOLLAR PAY OFF IN INCRIMENTS OF $200. AND NO ONE CAN TRACE IT!!!!

OBAMA KNEW THIS WAS COMING!!!

Tex, We are going down regardless of this stopgap bill to buy the bad debt of the entire world

Would you sooner go down and leave your kids $700 BILLION or hand that $700 BILLION to the pirates who sank the ship?

“Thank You sirs, may we have another”

They’ll be back in Jannuary to to get another appropriation to pay for Obama’s world wide inauguration party.

Oh by the way, those 74 idiots in the Senate who voted “yea” spent the day rearranging the deck chairs on the sinking ship. I hope whoever it is that makes wooden arrows is proud to have been made part of such a historic piece of legislation.

>> Now who’s playing politics with this!!

http://www.usnews.com/blogs/washington-whispers/2008/9/30/senate-republican-adults-to-guide-house-kids-on-700-billion-bailout.html

“We’re hearing lots of talk this afternoon that with the House unable to quickly come up with an alternative to the $700 billion bank bailout it rejected Monday, the Senate is ready to take the lead. It’s being described this way, says a source: “It’s time for the adult body to take over.” And that’s from a Republican.”

So what did these so-called “adults” do? Take a taxpayer-busting bill and load it up with pork. Pork. And more pork.

Mental health parity my dying ass.

It’s enough to make you scream, just like that crazy guy in the Munch painting.

As a party, the Republicans are a steaming pile of dog doo, pretty much indistinguishable from the Rats.

A festering pox on all their houses.

DeMint also said the Saudis are holding the securitized mortages and won’t lend the US anymore until they get paid...calling in the debt so to speak. Alla akhbar.

My Libertarian blood is boiling. I've said this before: the US Senate is one of the most corrupt governing entities in the WORLD. The Seventeenth Amendment MUST be repealed. NOW.

At least that mental health parity is only for companies with 51 or more employees who choose to buy insurance with mental health coverage.

It’s all or nothing for those companies that might want mental health care, but if they decide not to buy it, they don’t have to.

Hey, so, if I got a lot of loans, couldn't pay them off, lied to get more loans, couldn't pay those, and all I got to do is ask Congress to bail me out? Only in America! /sarc

Truly amazing that the crooks get off without going to jail and the american taxpayer gets stuck with the bill. The House GOP better vote this thing down, again, or so help me God there will be hell to pay at the ballot box.

Well John paid.....and he will still lose.

He will lose because his performance has been sub-par the past couple of weeks. He is not a maverick, he is a go-along-to-get-along pol, just like most of our other, useless U.S. Senators. The GOP could have done something about this problem when they had control of Congress, but they cowered under the threat of being called racists by the ACORN types. McCain was there then, and has been for years, and did nothing or said little about what might come to pass if something weren't done. Now we are at this point, and both parties are to blame for differing reasons. Not doing something because you're afraid of being called names is just an excuse. McCain showed little leadership back then, and he hasn't shown much now. He's just going along with the old boys club in the Senate.

Just expressed to my new Texas senators that their voting for this bill makes me admire my former Sen. Stabenow more than them.

You can’t imagine how much that hurt, saying that I agreed with Stabenow more than them. She’s wildly incompetent, but somehow got one right.

John has never been part of the Good ole Boys club, Why do you think he would stand alone if he said anything!

You think any of those Senators are going to stand with him....they want to win their own election!
