the media’s on his side. I’m beginning to think we’re living in a Soviet-style country in which the media is VERY one sided. Not controlled by the Dems, but they might as well be.

Never before in an election cycle has the media been this biased. It’s frankly, scary.

“I’m beginning to think” I realized that one about 12 years ago and it just gets worse and worse.

Tony Blankley wrote a great article the other day about the media.

You apparently weren’t paying attention in 2000 when the presstitutes were almost successful in a coup to seat algore as president.

Many around here cheer when a MSM newspaper lays people off and talks about the dinosaur media. But the bottom line is that although there is plenty of center-right commentary out there (blogs, radio, Fox, etc.), there is a complete absence of any widely read print media with reporters with a center-right perspective.

They used to at least kind of try to hide their blatant bias and act all indignant when the accusation was made.

Now, they don't even bother. They make it quite clear that they are in the tank for Obama, no holds barred.

The media is controlled by the same agenda and people that control Obama. I don’t believe for a second that Obama is a free thinker.

I agree with you. And factor in the Obama so-called ‘truth squads’ (read what’s going on in Missouri), and it truly smacks of control. Interestingly, last night on the local news (I live in Illinois near St. Louis) the St. Louis county prosecutor, a member the so-called Obama ‘truth squad’ used a whole bunch of words and a little ridicule to rebut the view that they were supposed to attack anyone who “didn’t tell the truth about Obama.” Then the reporter (local Fox News) interviewed someone who said McCain has a truth squad, too, and how much better it would be if a bipartisan group performed that function.

Draw your own conclusion.

We are. My brother told me he watched the debate on CNN. Now remember 0bama actually told voters to specifically watch the debate on CNN. There was a thread here on FR the day before the debate.

My brother told me that CNN had Donna Brazille and Paul Begala using the dial method made famous by Frank Lusk's town hall style method where actual voters rate the debate, yet CNN was only using Brazille and Begala. So while the debate is going on these two Democrat operatives and Obama supporters were rating the winner real time.

He also said that Wolf Blitzer had Joe Biden on (I haven't confirmed this yet) and they were joking about the debate. At one point Wolf commented that they needed Sarah Palin there also to which the panelist responded with "good luck with that".

This is the most disgusting display by the media I have ever seen. I hope the American people reject this but who knows.

Only Sean Hannity and Rush will cover this. Nobody else will even go near it.

I’ve been thinking that too. At least the media pretended to be unbaised. Now, they don’t give a rats. I knew it was the end when after McCain SCHOOLED BO during the debates, the media either gave it to Obama or called it a tie.

It's scary, but more importantly, it's dangerous.

When the press or media is so blatantly biased towards one side, and that side stands to gain so tremendously from the effect of the bias, then, we no longer have a free press and we no longer get government by the people, but by the biased press.

Its insane. The liberals have Pravda, they are using intimidation to stop political free speech and shut down opposition. This is Chigaco gangland style politics. Saul Alinsky, Marxism. Get in their face.

I used to think the Rats were the Girly men. Recently the Republican Women (Sarah Palin) have acted stronger then Republican Men.

Remember the Dubai Port World arguments? Or prior to BOTH the 2000 and 2004, the accusations that there were no witnesses to President Bush being at the Alabama National Guard base. Or while there were no WMC=Ds and no nuclear programs in Iraq, just before the 2004 election the outrage at the President for not safeguarding the MDX and RDX?

Not controlled by the Dems, but they might as well be.

The MSM begs to be under the boot of the DNC - hurt me, hurt me, tell me what to do Master.

And Americans quit getting the daily paper, turn off the nightly news, and cancel subscriptions and still, they beg the DNC for talking points.

There should be some kind of natural limit on stupidity.

We might as well “nationalize” the media as they are so in the tank for the liberals, i.e.: Obama, that we wpuldn’t even see a change. I can just barely watch Fox News anymore they are so swinging left with all their “fair and balanced” pundits on amymore. It used to be a safe harbor for conservative views, but I have stopped watching Hannity due to too much colmes (what a complete idiot alan is) and BOR is too impressed with obama since he finally interviewed (sucked up to) him. I at least thought the Fox “All stars” could see that McCain wiped the floor with barark at the debate, but no, only this morning Juan apparently saw a different debate than I did Friday night. I am gonna give them up for lost and go back to the HG and Food Network TV channel.

Fox News is not totally on Hussein's side. Perhaps one of their shows could interview the family ...
