Barack was the very junior senator on the defensive the entire evening.
After John McCain eloquently (and without notes) discussed the bracelet he wears given to him by the mom of a dead Iraq war vet.
Trying to prove his own support for the troops, Obama chimed in with a pathetic "I've got a bracelet, too," as he looked down at his notes to read the name of the soldier.

Barry was running to be Hillary's VP. I don't think he ever imagined that the MSM lip lock, Hillary's high negatives, and the distorted primary structure would make him the nominee. He's not ready. What a scary thing if he becomes president.

Both the guy I was with and I kept emailing our wives to fill us in, the BOTH responded with "GAWD, I can't stand to listen to Obama!" Hope they were indicitive of how many, many people felt.

Exactly. I try and educate people without coming off like a know it all or a rabid partisan. There is so much that the average person is not aware of when it comes to Obama. Every time I leave my house I have an opportunity to get the word out. People are starting to pay attention.

I watched on FNC. McCain clearly had the bracelet on. He showed while he spoke of it.
Yes, we were so respected in the Clinton years when our embassies were being bombed, our military attacked, the World Trade Center bombed but we didn't strike back effectively. We just tried to be nice and prosecute terrorists in the courts while they grew stronger and bolder. We were a paper tiger and Obama wants to go back to being a paper tiger.
Barack made some comment about not being able to be a strong military power without having a strong economy. The opposite is even more true in the world today. They are very closely tied and if we ignore our superpower military status we put our precarious financial structure at serious risk. We command foreign investment because we are THE superpower.

I wish Obama could have met people I met recently. They were from Eastern Europe and the old Soviet Union, mostly here on work Visas. They love America more than he does. Brought a tear to my eye.
If indeed Obambi read the name from notes as it appeared, then either there is a mode in McCain's campaign or a psychic in Obamas.
