A new poll shows that one in five West Virginia voters believe Barack Obama is a Muslim.
And only half of voters in West Virginia say Obama is a Christian despite a campaign by Obama and his supporters to shoot down the false rumor that he is Muslim.
The poll of 600 likely voters was conducted by Orion Strategies for West Virginia Media and West Virginia Wesleyan College. It shows McCain 11 points ahead of Obama in West Virginia 52 percent McCain; 41 percent Obama.

They better not say that in Missouri.
didn’t obamao himself say he was a muslim?
I suspect these questions get tiresome, but who won West Virginia in 2004?

Bring out the prosecutors and sheriffs.
Gee, the Massholes around here have been telling me that 20% of West Virginians are intelligent.
I am not touching this subject with a 10 foot prayer rug... er... pole.
600 Likely voters? Shoot, and that there’s just one family.
Not everyone who isn't a Muslim is a Christian. Maybe the ones not ready to say Obama is a Christian have listened to Rev. Jeremiah Wright's rants.
Could be wrong, but has a Democrat ever won the White House without WVA in the last 50 years?
Bellweather like MO?
the question is... what % of muslims think that obama is a muslim?...;)

Muslim, eh? Perhaps like a Mullah?
Let’s see:
1) Wimpy.
2) Spouts ideas that are silly in the extreme.
3) Everybody else does his dirty work.
4) Actually thinks that he can think.
5) Never had a real job in his life.
Hmmmmm, perhaps they could be right.
Well he sure isn’t a Christian.
In an interview with columnist Cathleen Falsani of Chicago Sun Times in the column “Obama: I have a deep faith,” he took issue with Jesus Christ’ own words concerning Himself being the only way to the Father and Him being the way, truth, and life, and that “no man comes unto the father but by me.”
In his own words, he said that that scripture was open to interpretation. Obama said that there are many paths to the same place, not one path - Jesus.
He basically called Jesus a liar.
4 in 5 West Virginia voters are uninformed.
yitbos
Hey, I heard a good joke about West Virginia the other day...
They might see the “Truth Squad” showing up in West Virginia signing up people for Obama’s re-education camps.
I just hope Robert C. Byrd wasn’t part of that 20%.
