It surprised me to that he didn’t attack Obama on blaming Bush for the last 8 years, and that he didn’t point out how many bills he has introduced over the last 16 or so years to try to stop the crisis from occurring in the first place.

Let's not forget that there will actually be a debate on the economy coming up later!

I have a feeling that McCain will handle such things then.

Yep, I do think McCain may have been saving some of his ammo for then. Especially because by that point this “bailout” plan may be said and done. I’m pretty sure McCain has a LOT of ammo against Obama from just yesterday (when the Dems had Obama lead their part of the meeting and it dissolved into a shouting match). It’s frustrating to us because we’re all political junkies, and we’re not the ones on stage with the cameras, lights and stress to deal with (not to mention McCain has actually been WORKING this week compared to Obama: “There a lot of work to still be done, but I’m going to leave now... Y’all Call me if you need me”) ;) LOL
