They both lacked precision, but I think Mac stayed on message much better in the foreign policy part of the debate. I'm not concerned with his slightly off performance at the opening -- the economy is going to be revisited over and over, and once the "rescue" is passed that is going to change the whole complexion of how the debate gets framed.
I think McCain did some real damage on Afghanistan, but could have hit it harder. BHO's recourse to "Joe Biden runs the full committee and said it's OK I didn't have hearings" was an enormous misstep: it cast him as subordinate to his running mate. He should've just ignored it. Since this criticism was bound to come up, I'm surprised 0's team didn't have a better answer.

Gretta on Fox News just showed the clips comparing McCain and Obama where Obama couldn’t remember the name on his bracelet.

Yeah, especially when Obambi has already lied (or flip-flopped without admitting it) on his own position, AND Obambi has just tried to use Henry Kissinger’s foreign policy prestige to support the Obambi position.
So, not only is the Obamanation flailing around about his own position on a critically important issue, but he is recklessly misusing Henry Kissinger’s name to try to claim non-existent support for the incoherent Obambi position.
If a Republican did something like this in a Presidential debate they would be flayed alive in the MSM. Think of what they did to President Ford over the (admittedly dumb) claim that the Poles were not subjugated by the USSR (I always suspected that what Ford was trying to say was that the Poles are a free people at heart and do not accept the legitimacy of Soviet dominance, but of course Ford botched whatever he really meant to say — he certainly knew that the Poles were part of the Warsaw Pact and not free to oppose the USSR on anything significant).
He was and it made him look very childish.

For a few seconds there I thought he wasn’t going to find it. That has yet to be vetted.
Obama’s camp is ruthless with propaganda. They saw the stuttering just like everyone here. Luntz’s group IS NOT INDEPENDENT and Luntz gave the majority of mic time to Obama supporters where they defended Obama's stuttering, and even had the gall to say McCain stuttered. Quite the opoosite...McCain is confident and knowledgeable which results in clear, concise statement. Obama, he stutters and says lots of "uh's" when nervous.
Luntz appeared much more objective in 2004. Like Obama’s own perspiration throughout tonight's debate, they are cognizant of Obama’s stuttering and perspiration.
That was a classic moment. Obama Osama lost the election with that and his looking angry etc. lol
