Mike Pence on Hannity just confirmed that people assumed McCain would toss Boehner under the bus but instead they walked out “shoulder to shoulder”...and that McCain has said the Paulson plan is unacceptable.

“He also indicated that many in his caucus would be satisfied with the addition of some of their proposals “here and there,” and said “almost all” — but not every — member of the House GOP believed the economy was on the brink of collapse.”

SOME of their proposals? Here and there?

Well, that makes things clear as mud.

OK — Great news -— but I think we need to hear McCain say it... Just saying ...

If true, it’s sets up the handout folks, that would be the Democraps, versuses the free market folks ... If the polls are right, the people are with the maverick.

I wonder how much Gov Palin had to do with this? If only Gov Palin would go out and give a few speeches on this, just in time for tonight’s debate, wouldn’t that be wonderful?

MIKE PENCE JUST SAID ON HANNITY THAT McCAIN OPPOSES THE PAULSON BAILOUT

And he gave some props to my Congress critter, Judy Biggert!

Way to go Judy! We're all proud of you out in the western suburbs!

“Proof positive that ABC is spinning its wheels.”

Yep they want to confuse and distort. They must be scared. One of the most important bills of the Bush presidency and McCain fighting it. Can’t let that get out.

Good news, but McCain needs to make a public statement to this effect himself.

And he needs to do it before Obammy gets out in front with something to muddy the water.

Maybe he will make a statement of commitment during the debate tonight.

I’m relieved. For a while there I thought Paulson & Bernake had put on over on McCain...like they have Bush.

The President might be a great guy, but he has surrounded himself with very smart and very devious men who are now using him.

All these Democrats saying McCain is working with House Republicans to kill this bill have no idea what they are doing to themselves. This bill has the support of lss than 30% of Americans. Bailouts are horrendously unpopular, especially with the Reagan Democrats in PA, WI, MI, and MN.

If John McCain kills this monstrosity, and replaces it with something else, he wins the election, and the GOP re-takes the House.

OK I think I’m about to get my first experience with flaming BUT:

From the article:

“John McCain is “with” his caucus — and

Later in the article:
“many in his caucus would be satisfied with the addition of some of their proposals “here and there...”

As I read this, the caucus is not holding out for all their proposals to be adopted , only SOME of them, “here and there“.

I’m afraid we’re in for disappointment.
