All these Democrats saying McCain is working with House Republicans to kill this bill have no idea what they are doing to themselves. This bill has the support of lss than 30% of Americans. Bailouts are horrendously unpopular, especially with the Reagan Democrats in PA, WI, MI, and MN.
If John McCain kills this monstrosity, and replaces it with something else, he wins the election, and the GOP re-takes the House.

The last 90 days have seen one Dimwit stumble after another. I hope Obambi makes an idiot of himself tonight. McCain has really taken control of the presidential campaign in the last few days. It seems all the lefties can do is react. McCain clearly has the initiative at this point.

Killing it is one thing. Getting the House GOP version to pass would seem to be next to impossible. The dems have the majority in both houses and I'm sure they would rather see the nation go up in flames than hand McCain and GOP a victory. God help us.
