My brother got me turned on to this site during the 2000 election. I enjoyed the "Sore Loserman" signs. However, I got hooked after 9/11 when the airplane-into-the-twin-towers picture guy started appearing everywhere. I then realized that this was a cool place to hang with people who more or less have the same values as me.

We had the perfect wind storm.

IKE came up the Mississippi and Ohio rivers (typical for a gulf Hurricane)..The jet stream dipped way south the fronts met right over us.

We had sustained winds of 50 mph for 4 hrs and gusts to 81 mph.

LOL! Ya gotta sign up to say something. Good for you. I signed up while on vacation, but rarely posted because everybody had already said everything by the time I could read. Then the Canteen opened....I used to FReemail Mr Tonkin when I just had to say something. I think he got tired of it and told me to post. d:o)
