This is a stand in until the FR threads come back up or Lawrence reposts.
You’re invited, too.
A guy by the name of John Robinson from the Post-Gazette newspaper in Pittsburgh has turned down the McCain bid to rent their Pavilion that can handle about 20,000 people.
No further details were available from my mole.
Guess that liberal paper doesn't want to associate themselves with conservatives.
Seriously Smiley, don’t go there if Biggirl shows up. She had to put one of her kitties down yesteray and it would be quite cruel of you as she must still be upset.

"Just too good, this should go everywhere!"
I'm sure DollyCali will love to hear that. I agree with you. Use it!
She also built this one...
Yeah when you’re calling someone about politics to get out the vote, they don’t want to hear anyone’s script, they want you to talk to them. I never actually do the script. I say what it says, but like a real person. Gets a much better response.
It’s your choice... I’m just sayin’
humor is humor but your point supercedes all
Figures—the P-G is such a lefty rag.
Too bad there isn’t a “Tribune Review” Pavilion.
Thanks for that analysis.
I will waste no time putting it behind me as I head for the smallest room of my house.

Excellent Idea, pity I didn’t think of it. But then, I had the IDEA of tacking ANWR and drilling to the “””Bailout”””
and I felt bad, feeling like I was Thinking like a LIBERAL.
Know Thine Enemy, but I’m not evil enough to THink like them!

Right! You just have to know how they think. =)
I meant to post this during the show yesterday but I forgot till it was over. This is the url for that NYT Kristof article that Rush cited a couple weeks ago, where in the interview Obama recounts his muslim childhood in indonesia and talked about koran class and how the call to prayer was the prettiest sound in the world. The Times pulled it and then put it back up after so many complaints.
I just finished reading an article on WSJ that advocated tearing down some of the excess housing that is flooding the market and holding down home prices. I’m fine with that idea if the houses or malls in some cases are unoccupied, but I have a suggestion to keep some of the people in their homes, who are now in danger of losing them.
My suggestion is to convert their mortgages to lease purchase contracts. Dedicate a portion of the payment to the down payment, and give the people a chance to accrue some equity to purchase their own home at the market in price at the end of the multiple year lease.
