A federal grand jury in Chattanooga, Tenn., reportedly adjourned today without delivering an indictment in the hacking of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's personal e-mail account.

The grand jury heard testimony this morning from three friends of University of Tennessee student David Kernell, according to the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, but ended its session around noon without returning an indictment.

I just saw your post. All it means is listed indictments didn’t include this case after today’s close of business.

" ... BTW the title of this thread is misleading. there is nothing wrong with proceeding with some deliberation before issuing an indictment. Patience, grasshoppers."

Yes ... misleading.

The entire country has been mislead.

We've been mislead into thinking that the pols we elect will actually do something for their (our) country, instead of running around stuffing their pockets and protecting their cronies.

Grasshoppers indeed.

The grasshoppers know that they will eat well this winter, in spite of the fact that they only fiddle.

It doesn't seem that long ago that grasshoppers died when winter came, but that was before global warming, I guess.

“We’ve been mislead into thinking that the pols we elect will actually do something for their (our) country, instead of running around stuffing their pockets and protecting their cronies.”

C’mon, now.

Revelations that politicians are corrupt, that the media is biased, and that dems are morally bankrupt are not new.

Perhaps this election cycle has highlighted those truths like never before, but it isnt like we were all naive about it previously. Were you?

No, I wasn't.

In fact I had thought of that very aspect while I was typing.

Funny, I read history and see that we have survived in spite of ourselves and the enemies within.

I wonder how long our luck will hold?

“I wonder how long our luck will hold?”

I am praying it holds out at least until november 4.

I remember back in 2004 and 2000 how strongly I felt about the necessity that Kerry and Gore be defeated. but that was nothing compared to this election. While mcCain may not be a true conservative, the alternative would be a national disaster.

Regards back atcha.

Interesting that you sympathize with criminals, stinkerpot...remember: A man is judged by the company he keeps. Apparently, you have no problem excusing criminal activity...

I agree. The fat lady has not sung yet. I think MSM is jumping gun—again. But, frankly, I don’t think an indictment will be issued because we are in political season.

"This was a stupid thread."

You might be correct. On the other hand it's not nearly as stupid as the person who posted #127.

Careful...you might get suspended. Mods are touchy. Probably from having to deal with all the technical issues of running the site.

Have you ever had modem problems? Take that frustration and multiply it times 100.

BTW I know you are being jocular. I have noticed the format changing back an forth from BTTT to listing posts in order. I think they are upgrading and switching back and forth between servers.

I just had an interesting observation. The forum is displayed differently on my Mac (Safari) than the DOS machine at work. Must be different servers for different browsers.

The mods are touchy?

Bwahahahahaha

If the gerbil remark makes them hit the "go stand in the corner" button then then we are all in deep trouble.

I will be quite surprised if any "mods" will still be sane after this election.

I know I'm falling off the edge. ;)
