YouTube has pulled from its website a video of a "Saturday Night Live" skit featuring characters portraying New York Times reporters investigating whether Todd Palin was having sex with the couple's own daughters after NBC expressed a claim of copyright, even though a wide range of other "SNL" clips remain available.

oh... now I get it. hahaha...
wow that skit was funny... I should have laughed?
(I didn’t realize it was satire directed at the New York Times from NBC... how did you know? you should be a movie critic)
accusing someone of incest in this heated environment is NEVER funny......
I just heard Alan Colmes say Lorne Michaels has given the maximum allowed to John McCain.
I’m shocked....pleasantly.
All that aside, I enjoyed meeting you and spending the day at Patriot's point with you and Jim and Shelia a couple of years ago. That is one neat place!
Thanks for being an excellent guide.
That was a different skit.
The NYT skit could have been written by Ann Coulter!!!
I heard Sean Hannity moaning about the skit today. It’s obvious he hadn’t seen it.
It was a savage attack on LIBERALS.
Clearly you didn’t see the skit. It was a savage attack on liberals. Well, it was savage ridicule, anyway.
Now that’s funny. It’s not about the Palins at all. The whole thing was a huge slam on the NYTs and liberal media in general.
I have the video downloaded. Frankly, I think it made the NYT look like the fools that they are.
I honestly don’t think it gave any credence to the left. It made fun of them. The Suggestion of incest was thrown out by a “pre-op transsexual,” who was just one of the idiot and clueless reporters portrayed by SNL they were all made to look like pompous fools. He followed up by saying “it is Alaska, after all.” None of the reporters had ever been outside of Manhattan, except one who had been to Queens. He thought Queens was bigger than Alaska. None of them could drive or even had a license. All 50 reporters planned to get around Alaska by taxi.
I believe there are many on the left who like John a lot. That’s why I think that Saturday night skit was a gift.
Notice John’s staff went after the NY Times today. Rather interesting no? This could very well have been a one two punch by like minded individuals.
I don’t think this took place in a vacuum. It was a little too well timed for it to just be a coincident IMO.
The reporter named Karl Marx who needed 2 psychiatrists ... the feminazi with 2 last names that sued everyone for sexual harassment ... the self-certain know it all who knew nothing yet won a Pulitzer ... the neurotic polar bear-o-phobic ... the expert of Alaska who had spent one summer there 20 years ago ... the entire group of 50 journalists, none of which could even drive a car or had ever been outside of LA, Manhattan, and Sag Harbor ...
The skit was brilliant. It nailed the out of touch pomposity and narrow-minded groupthink of leftist “journalists”.
The attacks in the skit were not at all aimed at Palin or conservatives or Republicans. It was like a flame thrower of reality aimed at the tools of the left, and it was sharper in its critique of the left than almost anything I have seen them do towards the right.
In fact, most of the skits targeting the right come off as buffoonish attempts aimed at blatant and obvious stereotypes. This was aimed at the stereotypes of the left as well, but had a harsh truth to it. It is hard to believe it was a SNL skit.
I agree, this was directed at the NYSlimes. It was quite shocking actually how it attacked the NYSlimes. It is true the reference to incest wasn’t funny, but it wasn’t funny when MSM went into full throttle attack and was giving a platform to people that would say that Trig wasn’t Governor Palin’s son and other disgusting things. After hearing discriptions of the video and actually seeing it myself, I have changed my mind, I won’t be boycotting anything. It was actually brave for SNL to go there with the skit as disgusting as the backdrop was for lampooning the NYSlimes. I would like to see them do it again and again. Then they can go after 0bama, well I can dream anyway.
We are talking about a media that censored a harmless image of Mohammed on South Park.
BTW, if Lorne Michaels winds up leaving SNL in the next six months, I believe this skit may be the reason why. If it shows up on YouTube or the NBC site, that would mitigate that thought in my mind though.
WND is wrong. SNL skits are routinely taken off youtube due to copyright law.
I think is about time the Repubs just ignored the media and refused to go on any the of the shows.
