MEDIA, Pa. -- With Sarah Palin in a red leather jacket and American Chopper dude Paul Teutul on stage, the McCain campaign took on a born-to-be-wild vibe a rally at the courthouse square here.
Palin introduced Teutul -- founder of the Orange County Choppers and the host, with his sons, of American Chopper on the TLC channel -- as he rode onstage on a white chopper, a type of motorcycle, dedicated to POW-MIAs.
Teutul noted McCain's years in a Vietnamese prison.

Just got in from the Media rally. I am still trying to filter what a great day it was. As soon as I get everyone settled in I will post some pictures, and give my take on the day.
It was fabulous! Crowds were reported to be over 25000.
Teutul introduced McCain after a few words. Palin was terrific as usual. Got some great shots of Piper, too.
My granddaughter had a close encounter with Todd Palin that I will relate later as well. All I can say is what a special man he is.
I am so psyched.
Please no photos of Mikey..

Yeah, but we sure heard what a smaller crowd Obama had. LOL!
Great tease...thanks for posting the pictures!
Great. Now Wapo readers will know what a chopper is and can bring up the topic at cocktail parties without looking totally like, you know, stupid.
What’s all the red about?
I was aware of that. Also aware that crystal meth is VERY bad for your teeth.
Meth production and distribution in the United States is mostly a monopoly of the Hells Angels who, for the most part, ride Harleys.
Let’s just say (for the sake of argument) that I was pre-empting a moonbat talking point about McCain’s support from Harley riders.... (though I really wasn’t, just trying to bring some levity to the conversation).
She makes a rubber raincoat and gloves look good.

25,000 in Media, PA??? Wow. That’s outstanding!
Those photos with the beaming young women greeting Sarah are priceless.
Pre event estimates were 12-15 thousand. Dont know how many actually attended but I am sure it was closer to 15 thousand.
Can you find the two men and the yellow airplane, hidden in this photo?
Awesome pic.
What a contrast between McCain in Sturgis and McCain with Paul Teutul
to Obama in his nerdy attire,
helmet on backwards, seat too low ,
heavy jeans , looking like a dorky girl while posing for the media on his bike.
The event invitations requested that everyone wear red. I suppose it is a psychological jab at Obama as in PA is now a red state.
All’s I can learn about that is that the McCain website told everybody to wear red, but didn’t say why. Maybe local GOPers told their folks the same.
Be afraid libs, be very afraid.
