[Ted] Kennedy 'very ill' ... A Kennedy update
Chicago Sun Times ^ | September 19, 2008 | Michael Sneed

Posted on 09/20/2008 7:11:28 AM PDT by Zakeet

Sneed hears the health of U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy, whose bravura in the face of a cancerous brain tumor resulted in a surprise appearance and speech at the Democratic National Convention, is sadly going downhill.

• • Backshot: "He gave every ounce of courage to attend that convention, where an attack of kidney stones caused him to be delivered by ambulance," said a source.

• • Update: "And although he still goes sailing every day at 2 p.m., he is getting weaker and weaker. He's a very ill man. It's been said he could have three weeks, three months or three years . . . but I wouldn't bet three years."

I can honestly say ... Anything posted here that does not contain anything about the magic negro & his presumed ascendancy to the presidency of this United States is a welcome diversion.

There may even be some good news here.

The little zer0 may get one less vote.

Doubt he’ll be meeting up with her in the hereafter.

I suppose they will have a state funeral for him. Weeping senators..reminding us that their friends in the senate are more important than their subjects. Spare us.
I don’t wish the man to suffer, but he has not been the light of my life. I have suffered his legislation and lectures. We will be better off with him out of the Senate and out of public life. We can only hope that his replacement will be of higher character, but there isn’t much chance of that.

I hope he last past the election. Otherwise, his funeral would make the Wellstone memorial look like a slumber party.

It will amount to a free campaign ad for Obama.

I’m not surprised. To my knowledge, his condition is terminal.

I was amazed how good he looked at the DNC though.

Ted Kennedy has done more to destroy this country’s foundation than maybe any other politician outside of FDR. That being said, I hope he is straight with God and God is merciful on his soul.

Will they have a Wellstone type funeral? If so, Biden would be good for a few gaffes.

And Mary Jo is still dead.

Where was his courage when Mary Jo Kopeckne was drowning?

“Nobody?” Maybe, but he comes close. When he finally does go I hope somebody pokes him with a sharp stick to make sure he’s really dead.

Don’t like his family. Don’t like his politics and I damned sure don’t like him!

Agreed. I can only say that I hope Kennedy gets right with God. If he is getting weak, he is on his last leg. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear he dies within the next couple of weeks, if that long.

“How many more times do we have to say kind things about uncle Teddy?”

Well, the mods may zot my remarks but I’ll be damned if I’ll ever say anything nice about that SOB.

For his sake, I hope he makes a thorough general confession while he is still lucid.

Agreed. When he goes, it’s going to be Princess Di or Mother Theresa. What a circus.
