Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois today exhorted his supporters to get extremely aggressive in their communities to persuade their neighbors to vote for Obama in November.
Speaking to a crowd in Elko, Nevada, Obama was quoted by the AP as urging the people to be his 'ambassadors':
"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.
"And if they tell you that, 'Well, we're not sure where he stands on guns.' I want you to say, 'He believes in the Second Amendment.' If they tell you, 'Well, he's going to raise your taxes,' you say, 'No, he's not, he's going lower them.' You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case."
Obama has campaigned as a uniter. One can't help but wonder how neighbors will react to people getting up in their faces arguing to them to vote for Obama and how many friendships will be ruined by Obama this fall.
If an Obamanation supporter gets my face, I will introduce them to Mr Bim and Mr Bam

Don't vote for Obama! He's a wolf in sheep's clothing! Let me tell you why!...
This guy needs to be shut down - HARD!

All I know is that if some wild-eyed semi-educated lefty gets in my face about Der Leader he won’t have much of one left.
That will keep voters away from the polls. As it gets closer to election I am hearing major buss of those that are Dem that just will NOT vote than vote for a black radical. I truly believe this election will be different than any other in history. For once, less Dems will go to the polls mainly due to really voting for a black radical..and the Republicans are going to come out of the woodwork to assure Obama does not see our WH close up. There is no way America will vote in Obama...too radical, too left and the Dems, mainly middle to elderly will NOT vote in a black radical. Never.
They probably do.
And if that doesn’t work, hack their email, mock their family, make fun of their war injuries and call them a bunch of racists.
First he wants to totally bring down the markets with gloom and doom panic and now he wants riots. Great leader there.

Good idea - then I know exactly who the true idiots are. Liberals have been doing this "in your face" since Gore's failed attempt to steal the 2000 election. They've all gone mad, but some show it more than others. This should draw out the rest of them.
BTW - open invitation to "get in my face" - do so at your own peril. I don't take kindly to trespassers.

Face it. An Obama freak that is willing to follow this marching order is not going to change my mind and I’m not going to change his/her mind.
We just need to keep them away from that fickle “middle” that listens to the MSM and goes with the last thing that sounds good. Unfortunately, they will decide this election.
So again, tie these freaks up for as long as you can. If they think they are changing your mind, let them stand there and talk to you for an hour.
If one of his supporters get in my face they will need a plastic surgeon for theirs.

Oh so now he is going to make “community organizers” out of all of his supporters. I hope they all have good health and life insurance before they get in people’s faces yelling at them to vote for him. They may need it. I lived in Nevada at one time, and I spent time in Elko; some of the old time ranchers I knew there will punch these people square in the mouth.

I’ve seen it too. These people act like trash. They’re absolutely clueless too.
So Obama wants his supporters to go out and lie for him?? Even Obama himself has admitted that he will probably have to raise taxes (in order to pay for his pet projects). This guy is unbelievably brazen, to want his apathetic voters to be more agressive in harassing us who happen to strongly disagree with Obama. As it is, they have used race, sexism and class warfare to divide people, and gain even more power. Now they want their footsoldiers, their unpaid voters to get in the face of anyone who doesn't love Obama.
This technique works so well for the Hare Krishnas at the airport. People love it when a zealot gets in their face.

I think you are right there.
we are seeing a party that has left the people, with the dems, and a people that are tired of business as usual with the Republicans. People that long for conservatism and are sick of the games on capitol hill.
