Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to touch base and let you know I arrived back home safe and sound. My brother Ron passed over this past week. He is missed but, bless him, he’s going to be alright now.
Chris and Jess were absolutely amazed at the thread and birthday greetings and warm welcome they recieved last week. I can’t tell you how much it means to all of us to have your support. You folks are the best.
Chris headed back to Iraq on Monday (15th) after going to TX with Jessie and spending a couple of days with her. I recieved a voice mail message from Jessie, around 7pm last evening saying that Chris wanted to let me know he was still in Kuwait due to weather. The crash of the Chinook out of Kuwait late last night has me on pins and needles...prayers for those seven families who will be getting or who have gotten “the call”. Something we all dread but know may one day come.
I’m headed over to the farm and will be in and out for the rest of the day.
THANK YOU TO OUR TROOPS WHEREVER YOU ARE!
THANK YOU CANTEENERS EVERYWHERE!
