JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) Alaska's attorney general says state employees subpoenaed in the investigation of Gov. Sarah Palin will not testify.
In a letter to the Democratic state senator overseeing the investigation, Attorney General Talis Colberg asks that the subpoenas be withdrawn. He also says the employees will not appear before the investigator unless either the full state Senate or the entire Alaska Legislature votes to compel their testimony.

Is anyone else looking forward to election night as much as I am?
Imagine the rage on the TV.
I shall take great pleasure in all of it!
The media have labeled this Troopergate, so that the sheeple will think there’s an actual scandal to be investigated. The McCain-Palin people need to fight this aggressively so that the uninformed don’t take away a vague sense that Sarah did something wrong.
It is going to be BEAUTIFUL!! *evil grin*
I can’t wait either! If Chrissy were able to be there, he
would truly be frothing at the mouth!
I have no doubt that they would fight it. This candidate has
surprised me at how aggresive he CAN be...I am impressed.
I didn’t think I would be! Sarah changed the whole landscape
for me!
Right after you do Keith!
They should also petition French to resign. Not only is he an Obama supporter, but he has had several prior dealings with Monegan, and is in no way independent.
This kind of thing is becoming SOP from the democrat bag of tricks. They did it to our Governor in Maryland who was a Republican, Robert Ehrlich. Same thing. Investigated him for firing an at will employee... and investigated... and investigated. When the democrat, horrible Governor-O’Malley, won they just said Ehrlich was bad and dropped it. Democrats are nasty people.
I know I am. Since I'm in California, I've purchased lots of ammo in case the liberal losers start acting up.
Gee I hope you’re right but sometimes I think McCain is trying to lose.
It’s almost comical how they are doing all this right in the open - kind of like sneaking up on somebody wearing bells and in broad daylight.
McCain is running a very good campaign.
Seems like McCain is learning from mistakes Bush made. Bush was all too often willing to cooperate with these things which were obvious witch hunts.

It still bothers me that McCain is exposing Palin to Gibson and now CBS knowing they’re out to kill her.
Troopergate just got flushed.
I bet it will be crazy when he loses.
but the RATs can still compel Todd Palin to testify

and he should give them the finger by taking the 5th.
I had a jaw dropping moment when I read “Perky” was interviewing her, yikes. Me no likes Katy...
“Im moving to Alaska. Its the only place left in this country where people still have balls.”
And that includes the women.
Yeah, I saw that. I guess it’s official then. I don’t see the full legislature voting to subpoena Mr & Gov Palin.
I have no plans to visit the coast after Obama loses :)
