On "Morning Joe" today, Sen. John McCain accused Mika Brzezinski of being "a supporter for Obama" and ribbed her for never visiting McCain's website to research the issues.
"'Supporter of Sen. Obama?' I'm not sure I would characterize myself that way, but that's okay." Brzezinski later added: "I take objection to that."
With a smile, McCain later called his comment "a cheap shot."
Reviewing the episode, Brzezinski said: "I think he was kidding, to an extent. But I think that was bad joke in some ways because it's a little bit hard for a journalist to be made fun of in that way. ... No one has been more defensive about Sarah Palin as a working mother than me and I've taken on my own peers."
She has been defensive of Sarah Palin (Sisterhood syndrome), but before Sarah she spent many many months in Obama’s tank.

I think this was a cheap shot on McCain’s part. Pick on someone your own size, John!
How about calling out Brian Williams, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Charlie Gibson, etc??? Now that would take some guts.

Why? Seems to me that "journalist" pretty much bring this on themselves. It doesn't seem like it would be hard at all to make fun of them for a whole lot of things including being in the tank for obozo.
I do wish McCain would stop caving in on this chit and stick to his initial observations though.

I saw it. McCain made a couple of very clear points to her and blow joe...
1. Read the law as written (which no one at msnbc has done)
2. The town hall debate challenge has been out there a long time yet BHO is avoiding. You never hear MSM bring this topic up but it should be a part of every press interaction. Fuel the angle that BHO is running and afraid to discuss his views.
The Mika spiking was icing on the cake. Too bad McCain didn’t call out joe for being a gutless worm.

She called herself a journalist, thus insulting all journalists worldwide, including those at Pravda.
Seriously, Mika is so in the tank I think they need to get a room.
This was effective strategy because it:
1)Puts journalists on notice that they may be called out.
2)Puts OlberFuhrer into an egotistical rage that he wasn’t
included, thus making him act even more deranged
Or better yet call out Kissee Matthews for wearing Obama's used underwear which caused that famous tinkle down his leg

Then she apparently thought she was off-camera, mumbling about her brother being a “kinda red-neck Republican... beer-drinking...pickup-driving...[unintelligible].... he might be mad at me.”

Then Joe tried to explain it away saying he was “just joking” when he sometimes calls her a BO supporter — supposedly that’s why McCain thinks she supports BO.
