The true extent to which Palin-mania has come to dominate the TV news cycle hit home for me last night as I flipped through the channels on the Palin campaigns charter flight from Reno to Denver. Within a period of about a half hour, I caught the much-anticipated debut of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night, as well as seperate Palin documentaries on MSNBC and CNN.
Tina Fey was such a dead ringer for Palin that I was tempted to open the curtains that separate the governor and her staff from the media to make sure she was still on the plane and hadnt managed to sneak off to Manhattan to appear live on the show.
One of the more biting pieces of satire came at the beginning of the sketch when Amy Poehlers rendition of Hillary Clinton standing beside Palin said, "I believe that diplomacy should be the cornerstone of any foreign policy.
"And I can see Russia from my house, Fey as Palin replied.
According to her spokesperson Tracey Schmitt, the real Sarah Palin had a good laugh along with the press corps in the back of the plane and millions of Americans at home.
She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween, Schmitt said.

Touche! ;^)
The SNL skit is hilarious, includes ‘cankles’.
I saw that and was cracking up. Can someone please tell me what a MILF is? I have no idea what it could mean.
That's pretty hilarious if true.
You don’t want to know.
It’s about mothers-in-law and the F word. Crude and rude expression.
Off topic, is everyone here using the beta version of FR? I’ve had serious FR withdrawals for hours and saw the beta link version to here on the Yahoo group.
There are a ton of people out there who are unable to get FR to load.
I am using beta right now and am very happy. I was having serious with-drawls without FR and am happy to get on here with the beta version.
It’s actually a compliment, in a crude way. A (M)other (I)’d (L)ike to (F)**k. Sorry, if offend anyone, but it was a question that deserved to answered.
Fox News is showing the skit on this YouTube video. Something more funny than the skit are the liberal Obamanoids posting their hateful comments and Hillary supporters saying “Fox News was the only network to give Senator Clinton fair airtime” a Nader guy fighting the Obamanoids...civil war among the libs. LOL!
Check out the comments and post and keep them beating each other up.

Are you SURE that wasn’t Sarah Palin? LOL! I couldn’t believe how much they look alike.
Very, very funny
While the opening skit was pretty ‘even handed’, there were several jokes in the weekend update segment where SNL clearly closed ranks around barry 0 by zinging Palin whenever they could.
It’s ironic considering how they skewered the media for being so blatantly pro-obama when hillary clinton was battling for the nomination.
They seemed to be following the dnc talking points right along with the rest of the media. I expect nothing less than a Palin “bashfest” from this point forward.
You may be upset about MILF. But there are plenty of women with kids that I work with that love to call themselves “cougars.” Cougar this, cougar that. “You go, coug’!” That’s almost as bad to me.
>>>I can’t believe they used that on SNL.
The Left knows no bounds . . . and is opposed to any.
Please don’t be surprised.
Yup. Access via "Site B". Strange thing is I'm already signed in on entry. Hmmm.

At so many levels, this is an historic election cycle . . . and an educational one for many (well, for some) on the left.
And, yes, the libs and the dem far left is decomposing before our very eyes.
