Sorry, legal immigrants have a path to citizenship. Illegal aliens do not.

And what about the legal immigrants who have become citizens who want their non-citizen family and friends to have a path to citizenship ... and who vote?

I don't want this to get sucked down into a discussion about the policy, ideology, morality, etc surrounding the immigration issue. It's really about electoral mechanics. Show me how McCain gets to 271 without reaching out to all the extra hispanic voters who helped elect Bush in 2004.

They would follow the same path the legal immigrants took.

Then talk to McCain’s campaign, not me. He should of thought of that before he paid for this ad.

Seems like he would have gotten the message with his last attempt at that same tired old amnesty push. And what about the legal hispanic citizens who are opposed to amnesty? I guess he doesn't want their votes.
