KHOU/TXCN reporting that Brennan’s Restaurant in Houston has burned to the ground with three injured.
The general manager, an employee, and his 4 year old daughter were burned; they are expected to be fine.

7 dead, many injured. One LAPD officer killed, one LA Sheriff’s Deputy seriously injured.
Accident appears to have been headon between commuter train and freight train. Cause unknown.
