Chuck Todd,
Political Director, NBC News
We already know what NBC's politics are.

It's not just wishful thinking.
It is a concerted campaign on the part of the MSM to drag this woman and her family through the mud. We're just seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Artificial? You mean like the illusion that MSNBC is a “News” organization and not a illegal Obama campaign outlet?
14 days you Media types have engaged in the worst sort of relentless demagoguery and hysteric personal attacks and Palin’s approval numbers have only gone UP!
Sorry bubble boy but the ONLY people living in an artificial world are you clown posse of “reporters” with your illusion that any of the hysteric garbage you pump out daily is of even the slightest relevance to the lives of 70% of average Americans.
40 million people listened to Palin’s speech MSNBC, while in your entire history as a network 40 million people haven't watched a single item you all pump out. The ONLY thing artificial here is MSNBC bombastic notions of their importance to the world outside their wako left wing fringe audience.

I hesitate to speculate too much right now because I believe this political environment is artificial. And it wont last.Is he talking about Obama or Palin?

Chuckie, this isn't Global Crossings, or Fannie Mae, and Sarah Palin isn't Martha Stewart.
She's a righteous, all American bulldog wearing lipstick, she doesn't waver, and when she bites, as Charlie Gibson found out, she never, ever misses.

They want to believe its a bubble but Sarah's popularity is based on more than just good looks and an ability to give a good address. She has strong values, isn't afraid to say what she believes in and she's proud of her country! That's more than can be said for Obama!

It appears to me that Chuck Todd plagiarized the “bubble popping” concept from U.S. News & World Report (Capitol Commerce blog) and reversed the players.

The Obama bubble burst because there was nothing solid inside.
Sarah Palin doesn’t have that problem.

Here's a good rule of thumb for the next few days: If a Republican candidate isn't in the lead in a survey conducted right now, he or she cant win in November.Uhhhh...Chuck - why is it not the case that if Barack Obama isn't ahead in the polls in the next few days then he can't win? You know the answer.
Back to the show: Now we have Stephie pulling the tail end and all I can say is Torie Clark is on ABC because she is a horrible defense counsel for Palin. My God, Dee Dee Myers gave a more intellectually honest answer about the demeanor of Palin, especially on abortion. Clark was claiming Palin looked too scripted. Newsflash, Torie: you don't just shoot off at the mouth when your every word will be parsed to infinity, especially when you are a Republican.
Well now on to, ughh, Nightline.

Chuck doesn't get it. It's McCain/Palin. Palin is to get the base on board and also appeal to those, especially women, who want change from Bush, but not a radical punk like Bacrock.
McCain will take control soon. He's experienced. He's presidential. Obama is a punk.
