ECON 101: Cap the prices, hello GAS SHORTAGE.

Will the politicians never learn?

Gotta let the prices ride, if we want to maintain a supply for those who need it and are willing to pay. ECON 101.

Based on the price per barrel of oil, gas ought to be around $2.75 per gallon.

We can freeze the price and not hurt too many people. We’re gonna have more than a few refineries under water by tonight.

If you are going to cap prices, you need to ration. Otherwise, there will be no gas. Panic buying will ensue and black markets will develop. Politicians will never learn.
