It does have some funky internals but it does confirm the overall trend.

A Strategic Vision poll had Obama up by only 1 point on September 5th and had a larger sample.

So it does appear at least right now that Michigan is close and in play.

"IT'S OVER! John McCain has broken a psychologically significant barrier in Michigan."

You got that right! The psychological significance is huge! The mere thought of McCain/Palin taking blue states away from the Democrats/Obama will be devastating for them. We haven't even begun to see what true panic is like for them. Can you imagine their reaction if we take Pennsylvania by a point!

Well today McCain is soaring in NC, and GA and small lead in A Northern Dem bellwether. We better set up a suicide watch for the left wing kooks.

REAL people know that the MSM and the celebrities are full of $hit. Sarah has made that painfully obvious.

They’ve tried liberalism and it’s gotten them nowhere, maybe someone took a puck to the head and woke up.

I am not surprised that Obama is losing the youth vote but I don’t believe he would be getting only 77% of the black vote.
On the surface, something does not feel right.

As a former ‘Michigander’ I stay in touch with old friends and neighbors there and they tell me they are voting McCain/Palin. Plus, those who work with Af-Ams say that they seem to have been largely Hillary supporters and are either switching to McCain or (being disillusioned) planning to sit the election out.

Nice. I’ll wait for Rasmussen but if McCain/Palin takes Michigan and they’ll need more than 1 point to do it then the race is going to be a blow out against Obama.

Doesn’t it all come down to Detroit? How will the Detroit mayor situation effect it?

The internals are interesting. The young people are abandoning Obama in droves and he's getting only 77% of the black vote? Its really over in Michigan, baby! No way he can carry the Wolverine State with those kinds of numbers.

The problem is, the whole sample is only 503 voters, so the sample of blacks may only be 80 votes or so. Just a few votes can skew those results in the internals.

On election day, Obama will get at least 90% of the blacks who turn out to vote, but I suspect many of the blacks not supporting him will simply not vote at all.

If Fauxbama, loses MI or PA there is no way he can win. Now with that said, of WI, PA and MI, I feel quite confident he will lose at least 2 of these 3 states.

On the ground here in PA for over 20 years now, I just don’t see Fauxbama carrying this tate, he does not have the blue dogs support at all.

Wow. It isn't an exaggeration to say that if McCain wins Michigan, it is over.

Mayor Kwame and Governor Granholm may prove to be our secret weapons in this election.

I don’t know about this poll, but I think McCain has an excellent shot at Michigan.
