Just think: there’s only a small chance they’ll create a Black Hole...

Similar fears arose prior to the first thermonuclear detonation. There were concerns that it would create a runaway reaction and consume the Earth, or else set the entire atmosphere on fire.Agreed. I was saying this to a colleague just the other day.

There’s been one in Washington for decades ... vacuuming up tax dollars which are never seen again.

"We as humans have very little impact on the environment. These are the same tenants that lead me to believe Global Warming is a hoax."This experiment does make me a little uncomfortable. Cosmologists can't find enough visible matter in the universe to explain the cohesiveness of galaxies. What if the missing matter is contained in hundreds of trillions of tiny black holes scattered throughout the central regions of galaxies. The proverbial dark matter. Black holes that our current understanding of physics say can't exist for more that a few picoseconds. If that's the case and we inadvertently create one in Earths gravity well, we could be in real trouble. Just saying...

I think you mean "tenets", i.e. beliefs or principles, not people who occupy your land or property. Actually, I heard that ConservativeMan has tiny people living on his ears, and they tell him things..... ;-)
