A Fox News special on Sarah Palin ran over the weekend to big numbers, bringing in 6.2 Million total viewers on 3 airings (Saturday 8PM, and Sunday 8PM, 11PM EST.

On Saturday, the first-run of the Palin doc brought in 2.7 million total viewers and 673,000 in the advertisers demo, making it easily the most watched program of the night on any of the top 4 cable news networks (FNC, CNN, MSNBC, HLN). The 2.7 Million viewers was a big jump from the 1.6 Million viewers that the network brought in for both the hour before and after the special that night.

On Sunday, a repeat of the special ran at 8PM and brought in 2.1 Million viewers and 606,000 in the advertisers demo. This made it the top rated program for the night in both categories on the top 4 networks . An 11PM repeat attracted another 1.4 Million viewers.

I watched it on Saturday and again on Sunday! It was well done, IMO.

I watched it again on Sunday because we lost power for awhile on Saturday night, and I missed some of it (remnants of Tropical Storm Hanna).

I saw it, and it was interesting. Part of it was filmed when she was pregnant with Trig, and the parts with her family were very sweet: Todd making sandwiches for the children; Sarah asking Piper what she wanted to be when she grew up (”baby sitter!”); and then Gov. Palin at her desk in the state house being very competent.

Greta seems awfully positive about Palin. Anybody think she might be a closet PUMA who might be in McCain’s column?

Money talks. Greta and Chris Wallace know that Fox’s audience is largely Conservatives and Independents. They have realized that their future success is largely dependent on big market share, so they will dish whatever brings and holds viewers.

Mr. Greta has stated he’s voting McCain/Palin. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Greta herself was leaning our direction as well.

Those show was very well done. “Just the facts,” no political bias. It was refreshing to see that again after all these years of propaganda.

My favorite part was when Sarah asked Piper

I agree. The only part that was under-reported was when Greta brought up Troopergate but then just left it as scandalous without detail.

Yeah. I knew about her husband. I also know she voted for Hilary in the primaries, and she doesn’t seem enamored with Obamination.

There was also a very nice piece last night on Greta’s show. She is in Alaska and interviewed folks who know Sarah well. It was good..........................!
