A spokesman for Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is taking the Chicago Sun-Times to task for reporting on a verbal slip Obama made referring to "my Muslim faith."

Not a rumor. Either Obama is either a muslim under taquiya (sp?) or an apostate to the religion in which he was brought up.
It shows Obama is rattled; he cannot stand up to the heat of the election contest. He’s revealing a side of himself that doesn’t reflect very well as to how well he’d hold up under pressure.
and go check out newsmax’s article about Obama’s brother and Obama’s time as a muslim. I grant the fact that he was not an ACTIVE muslim but he did spend time praying and studying it as a youngster. The fact that he and his campaign are trying to sweep this under the rug and deny it just creates the impression that he is trying to hide something. Had he just told the truth and explained the circumstances, it would be a non issue.

I believe that Bill Ayers, Resko, and Reverend Wright are the best ways to go against Obama.
It is true that Barack Obama’s father was a Muslim as was his stepfather. It is logical to assume that Barack watched and perhaps participated in Muslim religious ceremonies as a child in Indonesia. You can even make the case that some societies/countries believe ‘once and Muslim, always a Muslim’. That is NOT, however, what we believe in the United States.
There is no indication in his adult life that Barack has been a practicing Muslim. He made a simple slip of the tongue on the Sunday talk show, and it doesn't help our side to indulge in the kind of cheap shots we denounce when they come from the other side.
We should take the high road on this one.
IMO, this makes our side look like fools without evidence to back up their claims.
And there is enough to bury the guy without bringing this up.....57 states, inflate your tires etc.
Use his own words against him. That is enough.

I’ve seen the video. Of course Obama didn’t MEAN to say that he was a Muslim. How stupid would that be? But it was pretty certainly a Freudian slip.

Interesting too, but little noted; that the entire Muslim world are under the impression that Obama is Muslim. Of course, by the Faith of his Father; he IS a Muslim. Plain/simple. . .this surely explains his empathy for Nation of Islam; and among others, of course. It might even explain for his expressed 'love' of the Muslim 'call to prayer'. . .
Whatever. . .if you listen to the rants of Black Liberation Theology; it is hard to distinguish the difference from a Nation of Islam rant; and a 'true believer' of Black Liberation Theology. . .or a 'Black Panther' or a radical, Leftist Weatherman; or those rants found at COPUSA*.

It was pretty obvious that he attended a Muslim school while in Indonesia and while not a practicing Muslim he certainly was trained in the Muslim faith.
The MEMRI video of Quadaffy saying Osama is a muslim is a good one also. Don’t forget about the NYT article (scrubbed from the website) by Kristoff in which he quotes Osama saying the muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound on earth.
