In one of the most astonishing gaffes in American political history, in a national televised interview with ABC's George Stephanopolis, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to "my muslim faith," confirming what so many researchers and political opponents have been claiming, and what the mainstream media has allow him to deny, until now.
While Stephanopolis several seconds later tried to correct him, saying "Christian faith," it was too late. The damage was done. Obama clearly did not mean his Christian faith, since he was admitting that "John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith."

Mr. Obama's slip is showing....again.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Someone should get the Muslim prayer times for North America and see if Barrys trips to the washroom with a little floor mat coincide with them. Hehe, know what I mean?
obama muslim faith ping
Is their video or audio when Obama said we have 57 states? 57 Muslim states?
I wish my first employer after I got out of school allowed me to run off to Bali for an extended period.
It’s stuff like this which demonstrate why the supposedly brilliant and articulate candidate Hussein Obama, chooses his words so very ... CAREFULLY.
He’s trying to keep his stories straight!
He can’t speak extemporaneously like John McCain, because he needs to keep careful track of his lies, and what to hide.
Just like this.
He was saying that McCain was doing what he’s did with Palin - putting denying any involvement while encouraging his surrogates to attack.
But...but...the conspiracy "truthers" have assured me that aircraft was superimposed on the WTC tower using Photoshop, and the smoke and flames were not real, and Bush brought the towers down for oil, and...well, you know.
snicker
Sorry for that mess - Obama accussed McCain of doing what he himself did with Palin - saying it was off limits while encouraging every vicous behind the scenes attack.
He might also be thinking of the birth certificate issue. I wouldn’t at all be surprised, assuming he actually was born in the U.S.A., that the reason behind suppressing the real certificate is the religion shown on it.
Because if Obama were not a Muslim, he could not possibly have said "My Muslim Faith" and indeed, "my Christian faith" would make no sense in that context. He might have said "accusations that I am a muslim" or "claims that I have muslim connections"
Believe me, I’d love an indisputable thing (so no, my point of view is that he is a POS and possibly a black liberation theology nutcase — or even a Muslim who believes lying is just fine and dandy), but as much as I wish this was one, I don’t think it was. There’s no way to prove either one of us is correct.
I intensely dislike the guy and everything he stands for and would delight in an unambigous unconscious revelation like that!
Add in the previous slip of “57 states” and it makes you wonder.
I fully believe that if Obama were elected, it would be a short matter of time afterward that he would make an official conversion to Islam while in office.
I guess he forgot to call his life line on “WHAT IS HIS ACTUAL FAITH”
I really don’t think this is that big a deal. At most, a slip if the tongue. I wouldn’t hang too much on it.
You watch it. The MSM will crucify Sarah with video from some Pentecostal church, making fun of any aspect of some branches of that particular denomination and labeling it “dangerous” and “uneducated”. Not all non-denominational Christian churches can be classified as “Pentecostal”. - Meantime, Obama’s religion is skirted around in a politically correct manner. Boy. Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s searing, unpatriotic rhetoric could have been classified as “talking on tongues”.
This is a non-story. Looking at the context of the conversation, I think it was a brain-addled mistake. Of course, if it were Dan Quayle, it would be a sign of mental retardation, not an honest confusion of thoughts.
Two things I see here:
1. It’s not a Freudian slip. To his discredit, Obama clearly can’t concentrate on the fly. He’s proven it before. i.e., I’m pretty sure he knows there’s only fifty states. That’s why he won’t have a Town Hall meeting. Nail him on that, not the content of the gaffe.
2. Leave the nitpicking and ambushing to the Dems. There’s more than enough reasons of substance that Obama won’t be elected. Dwelling on an explainable gaffe is beneath our level of discourse...
Just my opinion. Most won’t agree. But let’s not turn this into something it’s not.
