Barack Obama gets back on the campaign trail with his middle class message today after taking some time out for fundraising.
He'll appear at a rally at the Walbash Valley Fairgrounds in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Last night, rocker Bon Jovi hosted a fund-raiser at his New Jersey mansion for about 100 Obama supporters.
Earlier, in Pennsylvania, Obama seized on the new jobs report as part of his strategy to tie Republican John McCain to President Bush's economic policies.
Obama said the recently concluded GOP convention focused on its nominee's biography and "didn't say a thing about what is going on with the middle class."

I was at the gym watching him speak. I wasn’t listening to the sound. The crowd looked board to tears. Then at the end they all gave him a standing O, but it looked like they were all cued to stand.
Have you seen the video?
Obama has made trips to the state and spent money there, unlike prior DemocRAT candidates. Perhaps he’s trying to keep McCain out of other states.
At least he’s not here in Ohio right now, stinking up the place.
No wonder, despite a beautiful day, I’ve been in a cranky mood... hopefully he’s gone.
Slightly OT: I’m watching the Fox special on Gov. Palin - Gov. Lingle (Hawaii) just said that on the day Gov. Palin went into labor, she had filled in as a speaker at an energy conference in Texas, and did it brilliantly. That old babbler Biden must be sweating bullets.
Predict Nobomba’s opening rally intro:
“Hellllllllllllllllllllllooooooooo Fighting Illini”
His chance of winning Indiana came and went with his opportunity to tap Bayh as his running mate.
I will be shocked if he spends another day here throughout the rest of the campaign. I don't care what his internal polls might be telling him, he ain't winning here.
Oh, yes, fundraising with his elitist HOllyweird pals last night at $30K/plate and no doubt making snotty comments about the bitter clingers, and then the quick-change into champion of the middle class. Wow. The guy can do it all.
BTW, what's he doing in Indiana? I thought it was pretty well locked up by the GOP?
“Camp Obama” should be home watching Greta’s show about Governor Palin on FOX. Obama and his band of liberal white boys have a major problem. It’s as big as Alaska.
Indiana is purple...heading blue. Most people cannot stand Governor Mitch Daniels (Bush's "My Man Mitch") and they adored the previous two Democrat Governors, including now-Senator, Evan Bayh. More than half of my 7 remaining siblings are voting for Obama. (One reason I no longer live there--LOL.)
Bush best Kerry by 21 points in Indiana in 2004, 60% to 39%. It’s hard to imagine the state is in play.

Omama heads to Indiana to waste time and effort. The flawed strategy is to trash talk about his opponents in a state he cannot win in order to avoid hurting his chances talking smack in places where he thinks he can win.
The mistakes keep piling up and the attempts to regain attention & traction will fall flat for this former lawyer/street agitator.
He won’t win Indiana.... how stupid is that going to a Red State? That’s sound judgment
I know. I live in Indiana and it is always the first state called. Maybe because he is from Chicago he thinks that helps?? Really I am sure he will be a great help to that idiot Jill Long. Or maybe to the mayor of Fort Wayne, a dem, who is from one of the biggest and well known Catholic families in town.
