Yes, it’s obvous who wears the pants in that family.
Ladies, this is what liberals like ...
females superior to males.
Be careful ... .
How on earth does the fact that he is not a great public speaker translate to her wearing the pants in the family? I know many strong men that are not as good in public situations as their wives are, and it has nothing to do with who wears the pants in the family.
Maybe I am more liberal than I have ever thought- but in my house my husband and I both wear the pants, and both participate in the running of the "family business" or whatever you wish to call it. I see us as partners in life, and it has worked for us for many years. In our case my husband is the one that is great in public/social situations and I am not comfortable there- it has nothing to do with how things work at home.
I do not see Sarah as superior to her husband, not sure where that came from. I am better at my job than my husband would be- and he (before he retired) was much better at his job than I would be. I see the Palin's that way too. It's a matter of interest, natural ability, and training- and has nothing to do with who is superior.
My mom, a blue-collar union factory worker, is a Dem-leaning independent (although she voted for Bush once and also for Dole and HATES BJC and the whole Kennedy family), and she LOVES Sarah and McCain. She said “a dollar and CHANGE will get you a cup of coffee” and Obama is an empty suit, LOL.
He’s a real man, and he can take it.
I wouldn't say she's superior, but she's damn sure his equal.
No, he’s not shy...he is a regular American man who stands for the right values.
Being a "real man" doesn't entail sitting down with Barbara Walters or Oprah or Meredith Whozit or Matt Lauer so that "America" (i.e., American women who live vicariously through pop media) can "get to know Todd Palin." I would hope that we smitten females respect the man's dignity -- a concept the MSM doesn't begin to comprehend, especially when the object is a Republican.
I know a lot of real men -- including quite a lot of commercial fishermen -- and very few could take a publicly broadcast personal grilling by the MSM, let alone four years of them. IF TODD PALIN WISHES TO BE "SHY," WE SHOULD RESPECT THAT WISH, not be like pushy women and violate it because we think "a real mean can take it."
