In addition to her frightening lack of qualification to be vice president (much less president) of the United States, Palin is an evangelical, anti-choice, pro-gun, right-wing conservative who wants creationism taught in schools.
Although in the past two years the Arctic summer sea ice shrunk to the lowest levels ever recorded, Palin apparently does not believe it is human-induced or cause for alarm.
Oil and gas drilling. Palin has supported oil and gas drilling plans anywhere in Alaska, including in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the central Arctic, the entire Arctic Ocean, and in fish-rich Bristol Bay and Cook Inlet. On her watch, regulation and government oversight of Alaska oil facilities is terribly lacking, and she has declined to establish a citizens' advisory council to provide more effective public oversight of the expanding oil and gas operations in Arctic Alaska.
The pattern is clear. On the environment, Sarah Palin is essentially George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and perhaps James Watt rolled into one, but with a more pleasant demeanor.

In order for them to view her as the Anti-Christ they would have to believe in Christ.
They don’t.
Obama left Illinois with a deficit and the National Guard being called out to fight crime
you knew that one was coming!
all of the enviro-brainwashed kinder tots to university tots will immediately wonder about ma earth.
Gov. Palin has a great record on the environment: Cut, kill, dig and drill.
What? THe Seattle PI is still in business??
LOL! Great points. ;-)
the pathetic thing about environmentalism,
is the belief that capitalism is destroying the planet,
while in reality, the world’s worst environmental record goes to east germany!
I doubt they believe in Christ so probaly don’t believe in the anti-Christ either.
For myself proudly join in her apostasy. And am honored to share my small part of the scorn.
Go Sarah!
You forgot the mandatory “Barf Alert.”
That's not a problem in this quarter, but no doubt it is in Rick's.
She's my hero. Take precautions, sure, but stop this knee-jerk "hands off the wasteland" BS. I never thought I'd see a major party chanting "Drill here. Drill now." Have the environmental wackos finally lost steam? It's been an amazing week.
It depends on what the meaning of abysmal is.... [roll eyes]
I hope the maggots in the “media” keep piling on Governor Palin. I remember what happened when people started piling on Slick Willie with all the “scandals.” His approval ratings went UP instead of down. Americans tolerate mudslinging during the elections season but they do reach a point where they say, enough is enough and cause things to start backfiring.
Gov. Palin’s selection could have a huge impact upon the Washington Governor’s race, which was decided by a minuscule margin in 2004. There is a rematch of the same two candidates, Gov. Gregoire (D) and Dino Rossi (R); Rossi finished two points behind Gregoire in the primary this summer. In summary, it is essential, from the Democrat standpoint, to discredit Gov. Palin. I think that at the rate she’s going, as a westerner, she could put Washington in play at the presidential level.
Right. For the already dead she is the anti-Marx.
You can judge a man’s (woman’s!) character by who his enemies are.
Tree hugging girlie man author better watch out. Sarah can club and skin him faster than a baby fur seal.
