In addition to her frightening lack of qualification to be vice president (much less president) of the United States, Palin is an evangelical, anti-choice, pro-gun, right-wing conservative who wants creationism taught in schools.

As if any of that is a bad thing! And I find her 'lack of qualificaition' refreshing - she's not a Washington insider nor has she been corrupted by power. She's one of us, through and through. Just exactly what our founding fathers had in mind. If 'experience' in the form of sitting in DC for year soaking up taxpayer's dollars was deemed important, our founding fathers would have made it a requirement.

The hard left in Seattle knows that outside of an average 25 mile strip of land with Interstate 5 as its center, the rest of the state lives like Sarah Palin's lifestyle. Yes, they get stupid and vote Rat every once in awhile, but its because they don't always make the connection between the smiling Democrat insurance salesman down the street and giving power to the radical elites from Seattle.

I spent 37 years in WA, and figured if someone on the GOP side could do at least a halfhearted attempt at explaining to those small town folks why it's important to NOT vote Democrat, that state would flip from solid blue to at least modest red. The assclowns at the PI probably figured this out, too.

???? I am not making any excuses. There are legitimate efforts to develop alternative energy sources, but we should not automatically approve all proposals for government programs that carry the label "alternative energy." How about Al Gore's "green energy credits?"
