Last Day Folks! Thanks for letting me do the threads.
Last night was GREAT! You can tell by the amount of slime that is being thrown us. Break out the poopcorn, it's going to be another late night!
He was on the phone live with Greta. He spoke of the campaign and just finished. No revelations other than he thinks there is a small chance Biden may have a family emergency and have to leave the ticket.
Palin’s hubby on Greta now.

Give your husband a hug for me.
And thank you for being there for him. He may not be willing or able to talk about his ordeal, but I’m certain that he’s grateful that you understand why he can’t.
OK, I’ll bite...WHAT THE HELL DID RUSH SAY?? I missed the dang call from Rush....DAMN IT!!
That’s because McCain doesn’t boast about himself as Kerry did in that regard - real heros don’t need to promote themselves.
I know, Allen, Hunter, Thompson........... OK, so McCain. I am on board. Thanks
You are incorrect. Once can believe McCain or not, but this is his latest position on illegal immigration.
Thank YOU for all you have done!
Earnest FReegards.
The battle will be joined in the House. Amnesty will pass easily in the Senate, like it did in 2006. It is going to be a very tough battle.
That was very cute. “If I had a crystal ball, I would have asked Sarah a few more questions when she decided to join the PTA.”
Same here.
Strange, convoluted logic.
I don’t know what you’re
reading.

CBS News/New York Times survey released on the cusp of the Republican National Convention found that nearly 80 percent of Republican delegates approve of Mr. Bushs performance as president, an approval rating more than 50 percentage points higher than his approval rating among all Americans, which stands at 28 percent.
(Mr. Bushs approval rating among Republicans overall is 63 percent.)

I am most concerned that absurd “dream act” back door to amnesty will rear its UGLY HEAD.
However Obama will sign it.
McCain now has branded himself with the conservative.
It was a presidential speech with substance. Not great pacing or delivery.
Probably the best speech McCain has given.
This was for the independents and undecideds. No red meat for the faithful, as that was done by others this week.
McCain is not a “set speech” person like Obama. Obama can read a teleprompter like no one else. But Obama lacks substance in his speeches and life experiences.
McCain was real tonight. Started slow I thought. Solid middle part where he sharply contrasted his approach to Obama’s. And a very touching and moving ending.
Having now read some excerpts again, I find there is even more substance than I thought.
Substance and “A”. Delivery a “B”.
Overall a great convention. This is a far different race than it was 2 weeks ago. Now Palin and McCain are at the center of the media attention. Obama is now second fiddle, and Biden is forgotten. My wife (who doesn’t follow politcs so close”), said tonight that she was impressed by Obama’s running mate, Liberman. Very funny. Joe Who?
that was going around on kos, saying he was “only tortured for 4 days”
I know - hysterical! He’s a cutie.
Thats the whole point of McCain / Palin.
Plain fires up the base. McCain makes appeals to undecided voters.
LMAO too! Zamboni time..
